William was kind and came over to do a meet and greet before we left our dogs in his care. However, we were a concerned with the lack of updates/communication during his stay with our two dogs. We only received an update once he arrived but not really anything after that - no photos of the dogs were ever sent which is something we’ve always received through rover (not a requirement just feedback). I specifically made sure in my initial message and at the meet and greet about the hours they could be alone in their crate to make sure that would fit in his scheduled prior to booking and the second to last day I had to text and call to get ahold of him as it was approaching 7 hours of them being alone in their crate and they ended up being in their crates almost 8 hours of the day, which they are not all at used to. As this was something that I brought up from the very beginning to make sure it would be a good fit with his schedule we were very disappointed and concerned for the dogs well-being. We understand things happen but communication is really important when you’re dealing with someone’s pets. Had we been told that he needed to be away for longer we could have had another sitter come in to do a check in while he had to be away. It definitely put a damper on our last day of vacation as we were super worried as we couldn’t get in touch/updates on why they were alone so long before we got ahold of him. I think improved communication would fix all the issues we ended up having.

William rules. On time. didn’t mind my crazy German shepherd barking at him through the door. Jäger usually doesn’t let anyone pet him and my dog went right to him for a pet. Will be using him for future walks. Highly recommended.
