Former dog owner who misses them!
We've had 2 dogs who have unfortunately left us. Mickey was an 80 pound pit bull that I did everything with - walking, running, hiking,sleeping, traveling. I still miss him every day. One year after his passing we adopted a senior (9 yo) pit bull mix, Bella. Shortly after adopting Bella she was found to have heartworm. We were able to nurse her through the treatments back to health. Bella was a lazy girl who didn't have the energy level Mickey did but she was sweet and we spoiled her the 2 years we had her. I miss having a dog but my wife said "no more." Providing a service through Rover will help me get my "dog fix." Although I have used to pronoun "we" in my pet care experience that refers to our past 2 dogs. Going forward I will be the sole provider.

We have had dogs for 13 or so years and I am very capable in providing the care and attention to safely provide for them.

Bill took great care of my dog of my dog while I was gone for a week. I didn’t have to worry about coming home to a messy house and my dog was well fed with plenty of water the whole trip!
Bill was excellent and did great with Lucy! Gave Lucy all the attention she needed and made sure she was comfortable and happy during my week long absence. If you are looking for a a dedicated dog lover who is reliable and dependable to take care of your beloved family member i would recommend Bill 100%. Thank you Bill for taking care of Lucy. She was very happy and pleased.

I can’t think of a better person to care for a pet than Bill. He is patient and loving with the pets that he had. He had a couple of dogs that died of old age and cared from them right till the end as though they were his dearest friends. He would regularly walk them multiple times per day and nurse them when they were ill. His most recent dog was an elderly dog that he got from a shelter. The dog was not in good health yet he cared from the and gave him a loving, safe place to live out his last few years. Bill would make a great pet caregiver.
Bill M is an incredible lover of animals, both dogs and cats. I have known Bill for over 40 years and I have seen his love and care demonstrated all the time - with his many daily walks with his pet and with his loving interaction with the pet. But to Bill they are not pets, but members of his family and are treated as such. His calm demeanor and his gentle nature are perfect attributes for Bill to become a caregiver to pets with Rover.

Schedule
I am retired so I have all kinds of free time to provide daily walks and the option for having overnight stays in our home.
