Your dog is just like family.
I have been a dog owner and lover all my life and have been sitting them for over eight years through Rover. I live with my family in the In the beautiful neighborhood of Discovery Harbour in the town of Naalehu , Hawaii . This is my business, so I'm always there to play and watch over your dog. With almost third of an acre of land we have lots of room for your dogs to run and play or just lounge on the grass. My only requirement for the dogs I watch is that they are friendly to other dogs. If you know your dog can show aggressive behavior towards other dogs please look for a different sitter. I sit for many dogs at a time and need to ensure that all my dogs have a safe and fun experience. Please note that I need at least a two weeks notice before any new dog boarding in order to have time to set up a meet and greet. I will not take dogs without a meet and greet first, to see how they get along with other dogs. I am sorry for all pit bull owners but I do not accept Pit bulls. Pickup and drop off hours are between 6:30 am- 8 pm. DOGGIE DAY CARE: I offer daycare services to customers in or very close to the Naalehu area, If you live further away but want day care, I recommend you find a sitter very close to work or home so that you won't need to add more time to your commute. About this sitter: I'm a fun loving middle aged stay at home dad who loves to take care of dogs! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life, and have always had a dog by my side from the time I was a toddler to now being a middle aged man. Dogs really are a mans best friend. I have loved and truly miss all the dogs I have had in my life. About my yard It's mostly flat with plenty of dirt and grassy areas to run around on, my dog loves it.

Our dog Millie, has been spending time with William every time we are out of town over the last 3 years. Each time she is excited to see him and comes home happy and tired. William and Ruth were amazing with our 2 pups! We went back to Nebraska to visit family for 3 weeks and have never left our dogs for that long. William and Ruth made it VERY easy for us to enjoy our time in Nebraska because we knew Bella and Murphy were being taken care of and safe! We are so grateful that we found such an amazing dog sitter to look after our pups while we are away. We would absolutely recommend them and will be using them as our dog sitter whenever we go out of town. Thank you so much William and Ruth for what you do! It is great knowing that we can leave our dogs with you and they will be treated with EXCEPTIONAL care and love the whole time they are there!!

Schedule
I’m available just about every day for dog boarding. Your dog will be safe and well cared for. We recently moved to the big island and have not had a chance to fence in our yard. Your dog will be well cared for and always on a leash when outside. I will take your dog on many walks each day.

I do not have a fenced in area yet, so I will always keep your dog on a leash while outside. If your dog doesn’t run away we have plenty of neighboring areas where I can let them run. But will only let them off if I know they can be trusted not to run away. I do have a very friendly German shepherd that loves to meet and play with other well behaved dogs. We love meeting new dogs to board.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks I will walk your dog about two miles every day if you would like. We live in the neighborhood of Discovery Harbour, in a very quiet area. Your dog will always be leashed and well taken care of. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep either in our bedroom by the side of our bed or in our living room or family room. On our couch if you will allow that. We tend to spoil our dogs a little here. Time I'll spend with your dog I send most of the day playing with and walking the dogs they are always by my side unless they enjoy being by themselves.
