Pet care experience

Absolute dog fanatic and avid walker!

I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember—since I was a baby, in fact. Growing up, our family home was always filled with dogs of various breeds, including Border Collies, a Labrador, Cocker Spaniel, Yorkshire Terrier, Pug, and several mixed breeds. From a young age, I was involved in their care—walking, feeding, grooming, and learning the basics of training and behaviour. It gave me a deep, lifelong understanding of dogs and their individual personalities and needs. Now as an adult and a proud dog owner myself, I care for my working Cocker Spaniel as one would a child. Dogs are truly family in our home. They’re welcome on sofas, beds, and wherever they feel most comfortable. We have a large, secure fenced garden with plenty of space to play, explore, and relax, and we are lucky to live near beautiful open woodland areas where we go for regular walks—short, medium, or long depending on the dog’s needs. My wife and I take our dog out every single day for at least an hour, often more. He’s extremely friendly and well-socialised, great with other dogs, and always happy to make new friends. As we don’t have children, our dog is the centre of our world, and we’d love the opportunity to share our energy and affection with other dogs through Rover. I have solid knowledge of the key aspects of dog care, including: Providing consistent daily exercise and mental stimulation Feeding a balanced diet appropriate to breed, age, and health needs Understanding and responding to behaviour cues and body language Basic obedience training and positive reinforcement techniques Keeping dogs safe in different environments (home, garden, walks) Grooming and hygiene routines Administering basic medication if required Socialisation with other dogs and humans Providing comfort, companionship, and emotional care Your dog will be treated with the same love, respect, and attention as our own. Whether it's a walk, a day visit, or an overnight stay, you can rest assured they’ll be in caring, experienced hands.

William and his wife are amazing people . I can not recommend them enough. They have a lovely dog called woody - who is very well behaved and exceptionally well trained. Milo had an amazing time with them and I felt as ease knowing that my puppy was safe with them and had a great time . I will definitely be booking them again in the future . Thank you !! 10/10 😁

Loving. Caring. Amazing. William and his wife recently looked after my dog, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They are such loving and caring people, with a beautiful home, a massive garden, and their own friendly dog who made my pup feel right at home. I would absolutely book with them again and encourage anyone else to do the same — your dog will be in the best hands!
