Availability
I am a student and so am available mostly for afternoons and evenings as well as weekends. I am also available and happy to go for walks in the middle of the day on any day, as long as it's in central Stockholm. I also don't mind house sitting with pets during the week but this is also only for those pets whose home is near central Stockholm. I am an early riser and so perfect for taking care of animals who need walks and attention in the early morning.

I live in an apartment building with a nature reserve perfect for long or short walks just outside. I do not own any outside space, but do not mind walking to and spending lots of time at designated public spaces where dogs can go off leash, which there are multiple of in my vicinity.

Let me know if your pet has any atypical behaviours or needs I can account for. It is also helpful to let me know how the dog has been feeling in the period immediately preceeding meeting with me and what they are usually like.
A typical day
I love taking long walks and so, if a dog seems up for it, I will take them walking through the hiking trail in the nature reserve just outside my apartment building. If the dog is energetic we will walk to a dog park where the animal can run and chase toys off-leash, or go for a run together if the dog is obedient enough to do so. If the owner agrees to it, I will gladly try to tech the dog new trick or practice old ones, rewarding them with treats (those have to be provided as I do not want to risk feeding the dog a treat that does not agree with them). The dog can also expect lots of petting and scratches if it shows a want for them.

Pet care experience
I was raised around dogs and have always been incredibly fond of them. Ever since I was little I have taken every opportunity to take care of pets of the people around me, and helped my family do so before then. I have experience and feel comfortable with looking after puppies and old dogs whose health isn't as good as it was. An early love and interest for dogs has afforded me good knowledge and understanding of their many quirks and behaviours, and instinct and fondness make it easy to match their energy and find a good balance of strictness and indulgence best suited for taking care of dogs with all kinds of personalities. Above all, being around dogs helps make me calm when I need it and find joy when I have none, and so I try to do the same for them.
