Pet care experience

Your dog won’t miss you as much!

Hi! I’m Whitney! a lifelong dog lover and proud pet parent to a Husky and an Australian Shepherd—so I know a thing or two about high-energy, smart, and sometimes stubborn dogs! I’ve learned how to balance exercise, mental stimulation, and lots of love to keep dogs happy and healthy. Whether your pup is a couch potato or a trailblazing explorer, I’m ready to match their energy and meet their needs. I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments and have experience handling multiple dogs at once. What You Can Expect: Long walks or playtime (tailored to your dog’s energy level) Timely feedings and meds (if needed) Frequent updates and photos Respect for your routines and preferences A safe, loving environment Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or overnight care, your pup will be treated like family. My goal is to make sure they feel comfortable, secure, and entertained while you're away. Let’s chat and set up a meet-and-greet—I’d love to learn more about your dog and how I can help!

What all can I say about Whitney, besides that she is amazing. There is no one I would trust more to watch my Bridgy then her. I have complete peace of mind when I know she is coming to walk and play with my pup!

Schedule

I work remotely on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, which means I’m home most of the day and can give your pup extra attention, potty breaks, and playtime. These are great days for doggy daycare, drop-ins, or longer stays where your dog won’t be alone for long. On the other days, I plan around my availability to make sure your dog’s needs come first.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment that matches their normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets get plenty of attention, supervised playtime with my friendly Husky and Australian Shepherd (if appropriate), and regular outdoor breaks in a safe space. I’m mindful of feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide—whether that means administering medication, sticking to crate training, or reinforcing behavior cues. In your home, I treat your space with respect and make sure your pet feels safe and secure in their familiar surroundings, keeping their routine consistent to reduce stress while you're away.

Pets

A typical day

I love keeping pets engaged with activities that match their personality and energy level! For high-energy dogs, we’ll go on long walks, play fetch, or even have mini agility games in the yard. For pups who love mental stimulation, I use puzzle toys, scent games, and basic training exercises to keep their minds sharp and entertained. If your dog enjoys social time, and it’s a good fit, they may get to play with my own friendly dogs for some supervised fun. Whether it’s a game of tug-of-war, a cozy cuddle session, or exploring a new walking trail, I always aim to make their time with me fun, enriching, and full of tail wags.
