I am an experienced animal caretaker and will enjoy caring for your beloved family member! I have cared for all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits and abandoned baby possums. I have volunteered at the Brazos Valley Animal Shelter. I work in my pottery studio, which is on the premises. My mother (my assistant) also has a home business and can help me with animal care when necessary. My two-acre large backyard is fenced and has trees. I can separate pets as needed. Backyard has shelters from sun and inclement weather. Part of the backyard has a pool with separate gate access. (With owner permission, I will take your dog for a swim in the pool.) Pets are allowed on couches and beds. My floors are tile. I have experience with several dog breeds: - Basset Hound/Beagle mix - Labrador Retriever/ Chow mix - Labrador Retriever/ German Shepherd mix My current pets: - Chocolate Labrador Retriever - 3 cats I know your pets may have high anxiety being away from you. I will work with your pet's daily schedule to keep their stress levels low. My desire is for your pet to have a fun, comfortable and safe stay with me at Pooch Paradise! Schedule
I have a schedule for mostly Boarding dogs. I don’t follow it, its just there to guide me. Mornings: eat breakfast, potty and hang outside Mid/late mornings: 1or2 hour nap (3hrs depends on dog) Early/Mid afternoons: potty & walks Late Afternoons: 1 or 2 hour nap (3hrs depends on dog) Dinner: 5-6 Feed/Potty Bedtime: 7:00pm - 7:30pm

Safety, trust & environment
My backyard is a safe zone for any dog. I require leash and harness. I don’t like choking a dog with only leash. I give walks in the backyard 4 times a day. If your dogs knows how to walk off a leash, I would suggest you tell me in your info. Otherwise, dog is on a harness & leash.
