I have grown up with animals and currently volunteer at the AWLF animal rescue. Time with animals is a treat for me. I have an affinity and understanding of cats and their multiple personalities :) I am able to administer pills to cats/dogs most of the time, also have experience injecting medication via needle. I am a distance runner so walks/ playtime with your pup is perfect for me. I also have experience with bunnies. I am an advocate for giving pets a safe atmosphere and reading their cues. I know time away from their parents can cause stress, I am here to help.

Whitney is absolutely amazing! She is kind, patient, understanding and loving. My dog loves her and is never stressed out with her because he can feel her love for animals. Whitney is excellent about keeping me updated consistently throughout the day and I could see how happy my dog was in the daily pictures she sent. I will continue to use Whitney because I know she truly cares about my pup and will give him the best care!
Whitney has been a wonderful pet sitter for my bearded dragon and dog several times. She’s always responsive and reliable, can not recommend her enough!
Whitney is the BEST! She watched my 2 cats and kept me updated every day. There were no problems but I know if she ran into any issues she would have them solved and would not hesitate to reach out and make sure everything is done correctly!
Whitney did a great job with my pup, she is caring and reliable. She sent me lots of pictures :) and will watch my pets next time I am out of town.

Schedule
I work from home so I am very flexible! Just please give me a 48 hour notice of your needs to ensure I can accommodate.

Safety, trust & environment
In the clients home I will respect boundaries set and lead with love in you & your pets home. I am happy to go on walks, to the dog park, vet if needed, etc. If an extended stay is necessary I can accommodate to work from your home on my laptop. I have my own transportation and am flexible for drop ins. I have a maine coon cat that is the king of my house. I can watch your pet at my house but your pet would be in a confined level of my home away from my kitty. I would make accommodations for them and accompany them at all times. I have a fenced in small yard and sidewalks/dog parks nearby.
Pets
A typical day
Beyond the standard backyard/walk, I am open to exploring neighborhood trails, dog parks, walks by the Monocacy River, Baker park. I am a Hood College alum and am very familiar with the area. I am happy to have play time so let me know if their favorite toys. If your animal is a cuddler so am I! If your animal is more stagnant and needs a slower pace, I am happy to accommodate that.
