SCHEDULE: If you are needing someone to remain at your home at all times, unable to come and go as needed, it will not be a good fit. I am a Marketing Analyst and work from home. I am able to be present majority of the day with your pet as long as you have a WIFI connection for me, however, I do have daily personal commitments and need the ability to come and go throughout the day. I try to be away no more than 5 hours at any given time, however, sometimes it may be a little longer dependent on scheduled commitments and travel time. If your pet is on a specific feeding or medication schedule, I will make sure to plan accordingly and ensure they keep to it. I WILL be with your pet(s) more than I am away.

PRIOR TO BOOKING: For new requests I like to do an initial meet and greet at the pet owner home to make sure it's a good fit and everyone is comfortable. If booked far in advance I like to come by again a day or two before your scheduled trip to provide an updated "sniff" of myself for the pet(s) so they do not feel too much stress when I walk in for the first time without you. It's important to me to set the pet(s), the owner(s) and myself up for a successful and stress-free stay. GENERAL SERVICE EXPECTATIONS: I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, and extremely clean person. I will do my best to make sure you come home to a house just like you left it, hopefully even a little better. I will do my best for you to come home to happy and relaxed fur babies. As long as there is a poop scooper, I will keep up with poop scooping duties. I am also happy to tend to plants or anything else as requested, within reason. PET EXERCISE: I DO NOT WALK DOGS OR ANY OTHER PETS. I have an ankle injury that makes it difficult to walk long distances and have many concerns about stray dogs and animals. I will play with them as much desired for exercise. Spoiling, playing, and relaxing with them is my specialty. :) COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS: Communication is paramount for me. Day 1: You will get a "I'm in" text letting you know I got into the home ok and everyone is good. Day 2 - duration: You will get a daily text with a short 'report' and at least one photo. Check-in times may vary; however, for overnight stays I typically like to check-in in the mornings as we are getting our day started and for drop-ins after the visit is over. Any other communications of course as needed as well. :) PHOTO SHOOTS: I am hobby photographer and especially love taking pics of animals and landscapes. I often find my photos framed and/or hanging on the walls when I come back. The amount of joy it brings me is immeasurable. I like to have "photo shoots" with the pets and do my best to get "studio quality" pics however it 100% dependent on the pet and their 'mood'. If they aren't into it... it's not happening. :) Therefore, I cannot guarantee studio quality photos every time, but I can guarantee at least a photo a day. Due to childhood trauma and being bit by a dog I knew and trusted, I have a healthy respect and fear of dogs. Especially large breeds. If during the meet and greet I feel there is any aggressive tendencies, even sometimes, towards humans and/or dogs, I will not agree to book.

PET EXERCISE: I do not walk dogs. I have an ankle injury that makes it difficult to walk long distances and have many concerns about stray dogs and animals. I will play with them as much needed for exercise. 40 years of total experience taking care of dogs, cats & horses as well as other less common pets. RATE: $50/day for one pet. $5 per additional pet(s). Please note: Rover charges pet parents a 7% fee at booking and it is paid at time of booking. Pet sitters are paid after the job is completed and are charged 20% of their rate. I have about 9 families that all started through Rover but now choose to book with me outside of app after my initial stay. MISSION: I understand all too well the struggle with trusting others to care for my three pups when we have to leave them. Our mission is to help others with the same struggle. I say "our" because I am fortunate to have a supportive spouse that affords me the opportunity to complete that mission by keeping the wheels on the bus with our three during my pet sitting jobs. I will be the one watching your pets, but I do consider us a team. :)

Whitney was a great dog sitter... the dogs loved her. i was away for five days and She arrived at the house on the times she stated she that would and... we had open communication. Lots of pictures and texts when needed. She stayed the nights and kept my poodles close to her. She was away at times when she needed to be but came back often to check on the doggies and was home in the evenings which we agreed on. The house was left in great shape and she washed the sheets and made up the bed that she slept in before she left to go home.. I recommend her highly
As a first time user of Rover, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have always had family take care of my dog and house when gone. I couldn’t be more pleased with Whitney M. She went above and beyond my expectations! My dog loves her and she took extra care with everything. She even left the guest room as clean as it was before her stay. I highly recommend Whitney and her price is quite reasonable as well! You won’t be disappointed!!

Whitney is a wonderful pet and house sitter. She was very good with our dog Ember. She gave her lots of attention. We really liked it that very evening we were away Whitney sent us a message along with pictures of Ember. Whitney did everything we asked her to do and more. When we came home our house was exactly as we left it. We highly recommend Whitney and plan to use her again.
