I would like to know their normal routine. I know being around new people can stress out some dogs, so I would like to stick to their normal routine as much as possible. I would also like to know how they feel about car rides and how they handle being around other dogs, because I would love to take them to the dog park.
Un día normal
I love taking dogs out for walks around their neighborhood, Bush Park, Riverfront Park or to the dog park at Minto Brown. The type of attention I give dogs depends on the type of dog; if the dog has a lot of energy, I chase them around and throw their toys to tucker them out a bit. If the dog is a more laid back type of energy or if they're tired, I sit down with them and rub their belly and scratch behind their ears. As for where the dog will sleep, I prefer to sleep near dogs just so I can make sure they are okay (plus I love cuddling with dogs).

Hello! My name is Whitney. I am a 25 year old Salemite who has yet to meet a dog I have not fallen for. I grew up around dogs and have been dog sitting for various family members since I was a kid. I currently own a (nearly) 4 year old mixed terrier who is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. He is also completely spoiled rotten and has an irrational fear of fans, but we love him all the same. I love dogs and would love to watch yours!

Whitney is wonderful with our dog that usually takes a long time to warm up to people. He loved Whitney within the 1st half hour and was so excited to see her on the 2nd visit. Dogs have a good instinct with people ! We are excited to use Whitney in the future.
