I am an ABCDT certified Dog Trainer, I use positive first balanced methods in training and focus on mental enrichment as well as physical. I own 4 border collies of my own and have had animals and cared for them myself since I was a small child.

Whitney is an exceptional caretaker of dogs. When she is with my dogs, you can see that she loves them like her own. She knows their quirks, personalities, and special requirements. She understands reactive dogs and is very accommodating. I’ve always known her to be reliable, punctual, and flexible. I would trust her with any of my dogs.
I searched tirelessly to find a reliable/trust worthy dog sitter for my fur babies and then I found Whitney. She came highly recommended from my neighbor who has also used her services. I have 2 dogs that are, to say the least, very high maintenance and Whitney took outstanding care of them for the week my family and I were away for vacation. Any time I messaged her with any questions she replied promptly and made me feel at ease. It’s such a bonus also knowing that she has so much knowledge about Dogs in general. When I first took my pups to meet Whitney they took to her so fast when they usually take a few minutes to warm up to new ppl and I could just feel that she was going to be a great fit for my family! I wound recommend Whitney 10/10 to my family and friends if you’re looking for a loving, caring person to look after your fur babies!!

Schedule
As of now I do not work, I am Mondays and Fridays between 10-2:30 to accommodate picking up my youngest from school. Available anytime of day Tuesday through Thursday

I dont mind going for a 30 minute walk, playing fetch in the yard, feeding and watering your pet in the middle of your long work day, I can offer additional services just as some training while I am there if that interests you. In our home our 4 dogs get lots of exercise and mental enrichment through playing frisbee, practicing tricks and cues, as well as puzzle toys.

A typical day
I focus on sniff walks when I take pups out. I truly believe the act of sniffing is far more mentally stimulating than just moving forward. Sniffing stimulates the mind and body at once, so if pup wants to stop at a spot for 2 minutes to sniff so be it.
