Furry Friends, Happy Hearts!
Hi there! I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, gerbils, bunnies, fish, and even a bearded dragon! No matter the species, I love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while their family is away. In middle and high school, I spent three summers interning at a local veterinary clinic, where I gained hands-on experience with animal care. Since then, I’ve completed courses in animal welfare and pet first aid, so you can feel confident your pets are in safe hands. At home, my dog Bonsai participates in Duke University’s Canine Cognition Center studies. Training her in tricks and agility has taught me so much about patience, positive reinforcement, and how to keep pets mentally and physically engaged. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, playtime in the yard, or sticking to a feeding/medication routine, I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own. I’d love the chance to meet your furry family member!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and am available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight care. I do have a couple of class/work commitments during the week, but outside of those I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine.
