We are a family with a 10 yr old male and a 9 yr old female bearded collie, a 6 yr old English Setter and one cat who thinks he’s a dog. My 20 yr old adores pets and has taken pride and responsibility in helping care for and train our dogs. We would take care of your pet like it was one of our own to assure you that peace of mind while away from him/her. We have a very large yard and live close to 2 dog parks. We would also be more than happy to send text messages with photos or videos of your pet while with us! About this sitter: I am an animal lover and cannot imagine our home without one in it! My husband and son work from home as well, so your pup would never be alone. Your dogs will feel at home while staying with us. They will be able to sleep wherever they would as if in their own home. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs all of my life. As a child, I had a cockapoo who passed away when he was 15 yrs old. Then while I college, I rescued a collie pup from the pound. Athena was with me until she could no longer walk at the age of 13.5. My past two dogs, unfortunately had lyphoma..one was a scottish terrier who passed at the age of 3 and the other was a wheaton terrier who passed at the age of 4.5. After this terrible experience of losing 2 dogs at such a young age, our family steered away from the terrier breed as they are prone to cancer. Our bouncing beardies have brought so much joy and love to our lives... About my yard Our yard is large, and completely fenced in! It’s like having our own doggie park in a safe environment. My experience administering medication Administering medications is not a problem. Over the years, I have administered pills, drops and liquid medicines to our animals for various reason
