Wendy is Amazing. She took wonderful care of my dog and I love how she sent pics/videos so I knew my girl was happy and well cared for. Wendy is truly a dog lover and you can tell she loves working with dogs.

My Magy LOVES Wendy!!! Wendy has a background of dog behavioral training which is beneficial and an asset which encourages me to seek Wendy's services. Wendy is gentle, intuitive, knowledgeable, and patient. Because Wendy has these qualities and certifications I completely trust that Magy is in great loving hands. I am extremely comfortable leaving Magy with Wendy whenever I need a sitter or even a walker.
Wendy, thank you for caring for Magy as if ...

I have never met a more dedicated dog lover than Wendy. She’s a dog trainer, volunteers with not just one but two different pet rescues! This is in addition to her work of teaching dog training classes and boarding! She’s trustworthy, easy to work with and always has my dog’s best interest at heart. My dog loves her so much—-you should see the way my dogs light up! I do feel ...

What Wendy would like to know about your dog

I ask that all dogs have a meet and greet prior to boarding, especially on extended stays. Your dog's safety and comfort is very important to me. Your dog should be dog friendly (especially towards small dogs) and kid friendly and crate trained. Your dog must be current on flea and tick medication. Proof of negative fecal (including Giardia Antigen Test--ELISA) within the last 6 months and up to date vaccinations (Bordetella within the last 6 months) must be provided prior to boarding with me as your dog will be going work with me at a dog facility. Depending on your dogs ability to get along with other dogs, they may be introduced into play groups while I work. While there, your daily fee will be split with the Rescue Organization providing the play group fun. I do not have any restrictions on breed, but your dog MUST be able to co-exist with my dog. I have experience working with all types of personalities. Please let me know prior if your dog has any reactivity on leash or resource guarding.

When Wendy watches your pet

Dogs that stay with me will have daily exercise at the park across the street. For their safety we will work on impulse control and solid name recognition. With two other dogs in the household, your dog will have access to some social time playing in our large backyard. Your dog will be on a long line for their safety during play until the yard can be fully fenced. Occasionally, we will take trips to a dog park or go hiking on the weekends. We'll also bust out dog puzzles for your dog to exercise he/her brain muscles.
