I have been a teacher for 20 years, so safety is always at the center of each decision. If I were caring for a dog in another family's home, I would be mindful of security, house alarms, locks, and also what the pet could possibly get into inside the home that could be dangerous. I would follow all requests and procedures in the home indicated by the family.

I think that depends on the dog, the dog’s age and what the owners have told me their pet likes to do that could include anything from several walks a day to playing in the yard to playing with objects that are your dog’s favorites.

I have always had a dog that I could share adventures with. I know the feeling when you are busy with work and need a reliable dog walker or house sitter that will care for your dog just as you would. Now that I have time, I would like to help others with that.
