Love All Furbabies Great & Small

I am extremely good with reading an animal's energy and being able to work with it at a level that helps them find trust and peace with me, even in some of the extremely timid or traumatized individuals. Right now I cannot provide services for pets needing to be walked on leash for anything. Health reasons are preventing this but I'll get it all sorted out shortly. I will care for your warmbloods from horses to mini Dachshunds.. With over 50 years of experience loving and caring for furbabies large and small, I've been involved in most stages of their lives since I was a baby myself. I've fostered, and tamed some wild ones, and raised a bunch of my own that are darned fine critters. I bring love and care, play and sport, patience, calm and kindness with me wherever I go. I learned a deep sense of respect for all animals from much time growing up on my Grandpa's ranch with horses, cattle, and dogs and following as close in his footsteps as I could manage. Before signing up with Rover, I've cared for skittish English Mastiffs and Great Pyrs, Yorkies, Jack Russells, kitties of many varieties and my own German Shepherds. Time and circumstances continue to change and I find myself more available these days. I can stop by your house while you're at work and take them out to potty and play, see to their creature comforts, or I can come stay with them while you're out of town, giving them a bit of a 'stay-cation'. I'm more than happy to send updates and pictures as often as you'd like. Maybe the occasional video too if you're missing your 'little buddies' something fierce. I can tell the difference between mild allergies and more serious conditions that could need vet care ASAP. Getting meds down them can be tricky but I always manage in the end. I do know first aid for furkids and am careful about such things as bloat/gut twist. I do prefer playing in fenced yards since my old body isn't as spry for walks as it used to be.

Wendy is the best dog sitter and I feel so lucky to have found her! The dogs loved that she played with them so much and gave them lots of attention and we loved getting lots of photos and updates. Our dogs are big and loud so I get anxious about having someone new come over but it was no problem for her. She left our house clean and our dogs happy. She’s the first sitter we’ve had that reached out to me ahead of our trip to confirm the stay. We will be using Wendy’s service for all our trips going forward.

Wendy did a wonderful job as always of taking care of our fur babies and house! And went the extra mile to deal with a cranky robot lawn mower. :)

Wendy did a fantastic job caring for our dog and cat. I could tell when we came home that they had been well taken care of. They had eaten well, poop was scooped and litter box was clean. House was very clean, too. Wendy’s communication was wonderful—lots of pictures and updates which we really appreciated. I will definitely use Wendy’s services in the future!!

Wendy was so great. She took care of the pets even though the snow was coming down. She kept us up to date on the pets. Pixie's tummy was a little upset and she kept us informed and offered something to settle it with permission. The house was well cared for.
