Dog Lover Missing a Dog.
EXPERIENCE: My last dogs (who recently left the planet) were 85 lb Pit Bulls, so I get challenging (but amazing!) dogs. Before that, I had a wonderful Lab/Border Collie, so I get dogs who need a lot of exercise every day. He was also fairly non-ambulatory for a few years, so I’ve done a lot of senior dog care. Currently, I walk and foster dogs at the SB County Shelter to fill my dog void.

Willie had a great time with Wendy. She made him comfortable and he got lots of exercise. I’m sure he would love to stay with her again!

Wendy was great! She kept me updated the entire time and took wonderful care of my dog, Artimus. Her home is very dog-friendly with a nice yard, and you can tell she genuinely loves dogs. I’d absolutely trust her to watch Artimus again.
Wendy was fantastic, and helped us so much during our big wedding weekend in Santa Barbara! Our dogs are challenging, to say the least, and she rolled with the punches with two rambunctious German Short-haired Pointers and took great care of them, and took them hiking every day. Her yard is great -- tall fences all around in the back, and her house is set up well for big dogs. We will definitely be bringing our boys back to her next time in Santa Barbara. Thanks, Wendy!
Wendy is incredible! I can’t imagine a more wonderful person to care for our pup. Bucky is a big, energetic dog and she was so thoughtful, caring, and a great leader for him. Gave wonderful pupdates and really put my mind at ease for the whole weekend that we were at our family event. We are forever grateful.
Wendy was fantastic - she shared multiple pictures / videos while we were away and daily updates. I felt confident and comfortable leaving my dog with Grayson and would absolutely book with Wendy again.

Schedule
ME: I love all animals, probably more than people. I’ve had, and cared for, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits… PERKS/ENVIRONMENT: I work at home, so your dog will have company most of the day. My completely fenced in yard was made for dogs to play. The back door is open so they can go in and out as they please, sniff around, lay in the sun... I love to walk, hike, and go to the beach, which are all better with a dog!

I’m super responsible, especially when it comes to the well-being of furry creatures. While your dog/animal is in my care, I will care for them like my own. NOTE: I’m new to Rover, so may not have all the references, but can provide them for you.
A typical day
I'll hike, go to the beach, play in the yard, snuggle... Where and what I do will depend on your dog, and what keeps them happy. Dogs without yards seem to like to just wander around the yard, sniffing and digging, and lounging on the grass. Or sleeping next to me in my office.
