Safety, trust & environment

In my home, pets are treated like part of the household—I keep them on their normal routines, make sure they get plenty of walks/playtime, and create a calm, safe space. Since I already live with a small dog (Maltipoo) and a kitten, I know how to manage different personalities and make sure everyone feels comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely so your pets stick to their usual schedule. I’ll take care of the basics—feeding, fresh water, walks, litter changes—and add in attention, play, and cuddles so they don’t feel alone while you’re away.

Information Wendy R. would like to know about your pet

If your pet will be staying in my home, it’s important that they’re comfortable being around other animals. I have a small dog (3-year-old Maltipoo) and a playful 4-month-old kitten, so visiting pets need to be okay sharing space with them. Please also let me know about your pet’s routines, favorite activities, and any special needs so I can make their stay smooth and comfortable.

A typical day

For dogs, I like to start with a good walk or some playtime to get their energy out. Throughout the day, I mix in potty breaks, fresh water, and downtime so they can relax. For cats, that might mean a mix of play with toys, brushing, or just keeping them company if they prefer quiet time. Fun activities can include: • Walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks • Play with favorite toys (fetch, tug-of-war, or feather wands for cats) • Snuggles and calm time if that’s what they enjoy

Pet care experience

I’m not just a sitter, I’m a neighbor who works from home and has the flexibility to give pets real attention throughout the day. I’ve cared for cats from tiny kittens to older cats who need extra patience, and I live with my own 3-year-old Maltipoo and 4-month-old kitten, so I understand different personalities and needs. Because I work remotely, I can be consistent and responsive - your pets won’t be left waiting long for food, walks, or companionship.
