I'm a full time stay at home mom and I take care of dogs year-round. I'm always home except when running errands. I only watch Small/Small Medium size dogs who are 32 lbs or less. I like taking the dogs out for a walk 3-4x a day. I have a fully fenced backyard where your pup will always be supervised, whenever we are outside. My house is very spacious and clean. I like to vacuum and wash the hardwood floors at least every other day.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is key when your dog is in my care. My house has a lot of room for your doggie to run around and play. I have AC for those hot summer days. I have filtered water always available. Each dog eats in the gated kitchen alone from other dogs so there won’t be any stealing food or fighting over food. My place is kept very clean. I vacuum and wash the hardwood floors at least once every other day. The living room/kitchen/dining area is non carpeted and gated from the rest of the house so I can keep an eye on their safety while I home-school my son. I also have a fully fenced backyard where the dogs have a blast playing, exploring and running around and always supervised. Your dog is welcome to roam around the yard supervised as long as you are okay with it. I know some owners rather not have their dogs go out to any yard at all or prefer to have them leased whenever they are outside, and I will respect that. Just specify your preference.

We have baby gates to keep them from the other areas of the house and from jetting out the front door. We have a variety of dog toys for your dog to play with, a big long sofa to lounge and sleep on, and plenty of human interactions for pets, tummy rubs and fetch. Pet care experience

I've been a Rover Pet Sitter since 2012. I dog sit year-round. I can host up to 4 dogs + my 2 dogs. I only watch small/small medium sized dogs that are under 30 pounds! All of our doggie clients sleep in the living room area where it's gated and secured. We can provide dog beds and kennels. --- My household --- We have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where your dog will have full supervision whenever my family or I are outside. We also go on short walks throughout the day (3-4x) and sometimes long walks too. We live in a house in Issaquah WA on Squak MT (it's 5 minutes away from downtown old Issaquah; Front St ). Our area is very quiet and peaceful with lots of grassy lawns and trees for your dog to sniff and explore. --- Get to know us --- I'm a full-time stay at home mom (Wendy). I've been homeschooling my son since he was 6. But I've been home with him since he was born. I use to work as a software engineer for Boeing (13+ years). Now, I dog-sit full time while teaching my son. I've been a rover pet sitter since 2012. I've successfully completed over 500 bookings since 2012. I'm very active, available, and communicative. My husband (James) works from home full-time and loves dogs. He helps me with dog-walking, dog-feeding, and entertaining them. You'll be able to meet my husband during our meet-n-greet. He's a finance professional and works for a local tech company (18+ years). --- Calendar Dates --- Dates that are marked "unavailable" means that we are not accepting new clients for those specific dates. If you're a returning client, and you need pet care on a date that is marked unavailable, please message me and lets chat! New clients that message me 2-3 months' in advance of their vacation have a higher likely chance of booking a spot with me. --- General Policy: New Clients --- 1. New clients MUST fill out their pets' profile with the necessary care/vet/contact information. 2. After I've reviewed your pets' profile, I'll ask you a few questions to get to know your pup more! Ex. How does your pup sleep at night? Have they've been boarded before? What shampoo do you use to bath them? 3. Once I feel comfortable that I'm a good match to watch your dog, I'll setup a Meet-N-Greet. All meetings will take place at my residence. 4. "Bookings" will be accepted/confirmed once our meet-n-greet is complete --- Why I love dog sitting? --- Love at first sight! Ever since my younger brother brought home his first pet dog named Chloe (a corgi), it was just love at first sight. Chloe was very lay back, attention seeking, great friend, and knew when great food is cooking when she can smell it. I could always count on her to make me smile and laugh. Ever since meeting Chloe, I have adopted a dog of my own and enjoy caring for other doggies. They make our lives happier and lovelier. --- My dogs --- I have a 17 lb Maltese Poodle named Teddy. We adopted him when he was 2 years old. He is about 14 years old and likes other dogs and used to play with them but now he just likes to sleep a lot. We trained him very well to listen to our commands. He's very healthy and requires no medication. I also have a 12 lb Chihauha named Lucy. We adopted her on 1/29/25 from a local Bellevue WA family. She's a great dog! She's very friendly and her energy level is mild. She's about 9 years old and has no health issues.

Wendy was fantastic! She set up a meet and greet prior to the booking to ensure that Hopper felt comfortable. During Hopper's stay at Wendy's place, Wendy provided daily (sometimes multiple times a day) updates with photos and videos showing how Hopper was doing. Hopper had such a great time that he whined a little when we were leaving for home—haha! An A+ experience, and we will come back again! :)

Wendy and James were amazing with my little dog! My dog is very social and loves other dogs, and was so happy. She's apprehensive when first meeting other people, but she warmed up to them perfectly.
