Reliable and experienced pet sitter
I have had cats and dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs as pets. I have a lot of experience with diverse needs of animals. Many friends and family members have trusted me to care for their pets with a lot of confidence. I am very mindful and considerate of whatever the your pet needs are to both be comfortable and calm. Your pet must be okay with being with my dog, who is a senior Weimaraner. We have had cats and this is not an issue.

Wendy has taken care of my pooch, Gita, several times, and each time, my dog has no problem when I walk away because she enjoys spending time with Wendy so much! Wendy is amazing dog mom. Full of love, caring, kind and always putting her dog first. I've seen her raise her dog Artemis over the last decade and can attest that Artemis is one of the luckiest dogs on the planet to have found Wendy. Artemis and Wendy are attached at the hip and Wendy has wonderfully, thoughtfully integrated Artemis into her life. Wendy has also looked after our last dog Avro many times, who was a bit more of a challenge than Artemis, and has not missed a beat learning his challenges and how to handle them. Any dog would be lucky to have Wendy in their life (as am I!).

I work from home and am always around to ensure your pet is always cared for. I am available everyday and will make sure your pet is taken care of and all needs are addressed. I always make my place puppy proof and no harm will be done to your pet or mischief.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an unfenced yard but I will not have your dog outside without being leashed. I have a dog currently who is friendly and gentle. If you dog is only comfortable at your place or only with one dog, I can offer visits without my dog. I generally take my dog for walks in the estuary and if permitted, I can do longer hikes or runs up the chief. I am a big fan of enrichment.

A typical day
I will exercise your dog through hiking on the trails and long walks depending on the need of the dog. I have enrichment toys and can also take your dog up the mountain if they can manage.
