All about the dogs
I have trained dogs professionally and for fun for 12 years. I have cared for my own dogs and those of friends and family. I’ve cared for dogs of a variety of breeds and sizes. I’m semi retired and home most of the time unless I’m dabbling in a hobby so my schedule is perfect for caring for your furry family member. I have a fenced in yard. I own one dog and one cat. Your dog will have access to my regular living space as long as they are socially appropriate with my pets. I have a beautiful basement. If and when I leave your pet will be crated for their safety.

Just picked up my baby from "Grandma Wendy" and hes home and relaxing. Hankers always has a blast when he gets to go visit and play and run, and I have no worries in the world leaving my baby boy in such great hands. Already ready to book some more stays!

I cannot express how happy and greatful I am to have been able to board my whole world, my Hankster with Wendy while I was gone for a week. From making a list of everything I would want and need in a boarder for my dogs needs and my own, and doing the initial meet and greet I knew right away Wendy was the right choice, especially with seeing her interaction with Hank, and hearing her passion, knowledge, and love for dogs it was the perfect fit. The entire time she was boarding Hank, her communication was beyond amazing, and quick to respond to any questions. My little boy came back a new little gentleman once I was back and picked him up, all from Wendy spending her time and playing and working with him while I was away. I will definitely be using Wendy's service again! 10/10 highly recommend!
This was Rosey's first time staying with Wendy. She seemed very relaxed and felt safe and comfortable in all of the correspondence I received. Communication was A+. Wendy is very knowledgeable about dogs and has a great/safe place to board. Makes visiting dog feel welcome. We will definitely go to Wendy's again!
I'm happy overall, Cooper was safe and kept in clean and comfortable environment. However it was not a good fit for either party as he just requires more exercise and mental stimulus than Wendy could provide. No regrets about his care. Thanks
We dropped our Great Dane off with Wendy for a week. She sent lots of updates and our pup had a great time! It was nice to know she was taken care of while we were gone and she went above and beyond getting our stubborn pup to eat!

Schedule
My schedule is flexible. So there will be plenty of potty breaks and play time. I have a beautiful fenced in area that allows for safe outdoor time.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I ask that you dog be crate trained for their safety and to reduce stress. Crate trained means your dog is comfortable in a crate and has experience in one. You may bring your own or I have plenty available. If your dog has not been crate trained, I can offer those services for an additional fee. Message me for more information.
Pets
A typical day
We like to take a short walk on beautiful days. Go check the flowers and garden. Play in the snow in winter. Great backyard for playing ball.
