I grew up working in a veterinary hospital with my parents. I’ve had a long career in public health and recently retired. I’ve been a Trusted Housesitter, taking care of pets in their homes, for several years as well. I think dogs are the best people in the world. I have a very passive and sweet rescue poodle mix, Echo, who gets along well with other dogs. We’d love to take care of yours! In addition to the references on this site, I have 15 other 5-star pet sitting references from my pet care via Trusted Housesitters, 7 of which are posted in my photos.

My home is private and secure. I live on a hill with a yard area (unfenced so I always leash pets) and we have a great little community park in town if you are ok with me taking your pet there. I don’t smoke and my kids are grown and on their own so your pet will get lots of attention.

Wendy accommodated our last minute request (literally the evening before) when we had a whale tour booked but learned dogs could not be unattended in our air bnb. She did great - making us and Thor feel comfortable leaving him with her. I’d gladly recommend Wendy to anybody local or visiting the area to watch your pup!
Wendy is such a great pet sitter. She is very punctual. She did a perfect job with our 2 cats. By the 3rd day they were waiting by the front door for her to come in. That is impressive considering that we have 2 scare cats. She did a perfect job with the litter box and also with the cat dishes. She is my number ONE sitter for my next booking.
Wendy always takes such great care of Roscoe! I know he hated being away from me but at Wendy’s he doesn’t mind as much <3
Wendy was really great! We will definitely be reaching out if staying on the coast again and need to venture in undogged territory. She was very responsive and our pups loved her. We felt like our sweet girls were in really good hands.
Wendy did an excellent job taking care of our cats! She sent photos and texted each day we were gone. All was in perfect order when we returned. She was also great with our older cats who sometimes have issues! We will definitely be beeking her again.

Harmonogram
I’m retired so unless I’m travelling I am usually available. I’m happy to pick up and drop off your pet. Would walk them twice a day for 20-30 mins. Happy to follow feeding instructions. Able to administer medications.
