Hello my name is Wendy. I am an assertive individual with a calm energy who is flexible on size and breed. I own a Honda Odyssey which can accommodate multiple dogs comfortably. Although not an expert I enjoy and am willing to do light brushing on long haired breeds as needed. I am reliable and I love to walk even in inclement weather. I have the flexibility of caring for puppies, providing some training and frequent potty breaks as well as playtime opportunities to socialize and lots of love. I have been self employed as a nanny and family assistant for over ten years and I am very good at time management and meeting the individual needs of the families and pets I take care of. I’m currently working part time time so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have 3-4 walks built into my schedule every day between my dogs and my regular clientele. It will be easy to accommodate the energy of a variety of breeds. I have separate areas for meal time in order to keep feeding time safe. I also supervise play time to ensure a safe fun stay. Lastly, my dogs are kept separate in my room when I leave my house and if needed or requested I own a crate for larger breeds.

Have a Great Holiday
Wendy was great. She sent me pics of him, gave me updates of the situation, and asked if there was anything else she could do to keep Almond comfortable. Wendy let me know immediately that Almond started howling in the middle of the night. I wasn't sure what was going on since he never did that at home. My initial thought was he was missing me and home. And because of his age, I believe he got disoriented and lost and couldn't identify where he was at. Wendy did follow the instructions I left and asked if there was anything more she could do. I appreciate Wendy giving Almond the extra care he needed. Thanks again..
This is the second time we leave Tessa with Wendy and it was also a great experience. Wendy is very communicative and sends lots of pics of Tessa enjoying with her and her kids. She also takes Tessa to dog parks and on walks so she can get her exercise. We recommend her :)

I accept all breeds with prior knowledge to appropriately prepare. I would prefer to know of any separation anxiety or fears, such as thunderstorms, again in order to adequately prepare.
A typical day
Exact activities and walk locations would vary depending on the specific breed and owner preferences. One specific example is my current client. She has a Newfoundland. I usually pick her up drive her to the park down the street walk around the soccer field and playground (she likes to sniff for crumbs and pizza crusts). Then we walk over to the dog park for a spell before heading back to the van. Depending on her grooming schedule she will sometimes join me on my Wednesday river walks. I tend to have 3-4 dogs and they are allowed to get wet in a shallow area as far as their retractable leashes permit. I also frequent dog parks. I’m pretty open to different scenarios but will usually stick to an easy neighborhood walk until I get a feel for a dogs temperament and energy.
