New to Boise! I have taken care of pets as a side job for the past 20 years and had my own pets. I am currently without a dog/pet. My last two dogs were rescue dogs. I have fostered numerous cats and dogs in addition to having my own. I am a retired public school teacher from SC. I have a kind heart and animals are usually drawn to me. Love the outdoors and enjoy walking pets in them!

I am extremely saddened by my experience with this sitter. I thought everything was going great even rehired her a few times and was my only go to sitter on this app. I felt like she looked out for me and I did my best to show my appreciation for all her help. My dog was not feeling well one day and she even took the time to clean it up for me. The following day she cancelled out of the blue and stopped returning any of my text messages, I brushed it off because I figured it was due to my dog not feeling well until I received a nasty review from this sitter claiming statements and accusations about my character that I could bring her to court for. Her review included slander and defamation of my character that she came to conclusion to based off a few drop in visits with my pet. I truly do not wish this experience on anyone and I think other individuals using this app need to know.
Wendy is super friendly and responsive. She was very easy snd accommodating to work with and my dog was very happy!

Wendy is the absolute BEST!!! She went above and beyond taking care of our two babies (high energy dog and cat). She made sure our dog was let out and played with/walked several times throughout the day, never left him alone for longer than he was able & provided all the love and snuggles! She took excellent care of our home & provided lots of updates and pictures. She gave me such peace of mind being gone for 10 days and I could not recommend someone more. We will definitely be using her for ALL future trips! Best experience I have had on Rover after using for a couple of years now. Wendy is simply the greatest!

Schedule
I am a single empty nester who has been teaching for 29 years. I live and teach near West Asheville. I can stay overnight on school nights, but only if it is within 30 miles. I am available all weekend and holidays (Except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year). My hours at school are from 7:30 am to 3:00. I do have an hour planning/lunch break if you are close to the school. Otherwise, if your pet can't go from 7:30 to 3:00 on school days, then I may not be the best fit.
