I love animals, walking and hiking!
Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion of mine. Over the years, I’ve raised and loved many pets of my own, and currently walk my dogs 2–3 times a day—rain or shine. Our daily routines include neighborhood strolls, adventurous hikes, and long weekends exploring the outdoors. I’ve traveled with my pups across Texas, Tennessee, and Missouri, and regularly vacation with my grandpuppies in the mountains of Colorado, Montana, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. I’ve also had the privilege of hiking and vacationing with my blind friend and her two incredible service dogs, gaining firsthand experience supporting animals with specialized needs. I cared for my own dog through two ACL surgeries and followed strict recovery plans, and I’ve successfully trained a high-energy German Shepherd mix using positive reinforcement methods. Whether it's providing companionship for a friend’s pet during long work shifts or pet sitting for neighbors on vacation, I treat every animal with the same love, care, and attention I give my own. Your pets will be safe, happy, and well cared for in my hands!

I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved, and respected—whether in my care at home or in a client’s home. I use positive reinforcement to build trust and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure. I treat all animals as members of the family, providing them with the same level of attention and care I give my own. When walking or visiting parks, I always keep pets on a leash and remain attentive to their surroundings, making safety my top priority. I follow any specific instructions you provide and take great care to maintain routines, comfort, and consistency—because your pet’s well-being is my responsibility, and I take that to heart.

Wendy was such a great sitter for our boy, Gus. She was responsive, kind and met us for a meet and greet where we went through his entire routine. Wendy’s experience with reactive, anxious dogs made us so much more comfortable too. We knew he was in good hands. Gus loved Wendy too and got some great snuggles.
Did a great job and was nice to assist me on some airplane delays .
Wendy stayed in our townhome for 7 days with my two large dogs, one of which has anxiety issues. No yard, so walks only. She did great & lots of combination. It was obvious she truly cares for making sure the dogs are happy House was also very well kept when we returned. I asked my dogs how many stars to give her & they both responded with five big sloppy links 😋
Wendy is very responsive and great with dogs. She has quite a bit of experience caring for her own dogs as well as helping family and friends when needed.

Harmonogram
As a recent retiree, I have the time, flexibility, and energy to fully dedicate myself to pet care. Daily walks and outdoor adventures are already a natural part of my routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending that time with a furry companion by my side. I love walking, hiking, and exploring local trails, parks, and neighborhoods, and dogs make those experiences even more joyful. Their energy, affection, and playful spirit bring me so much happiness, and it’s a true pleasure to provide them with the exercise, enrichment, and companionship they need throughout the day.
