I've spent the last several years walking and day sitting for the same neighborhood dog, 3-5 days a week, rain or shine, all the walks, all the naps, all the good boy energy. He's moving away, and while I'll really miss him, I'm excited to become someone else's regular. I'm genuinely happiest with a dog curled up next to me or trotting along on a walk. If you're looking for someone consistent who'll truly love on your pup, I'd love to be that person.

Huge thanks to Wendy and her family for taking such great care of our dog, Ragnar! Leaving hm with someone new can be nerve wracking, but Wendy instantly made us feel so welcome and completely at ease. Ragnar came home super tired, which is always the ultimate sign that he had an absolute blast playing hard all day. Knowing he was in such awesome, caring hands gave us total peace of mind. I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I love having a reason to take cuddle breaks and walks between tasks.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced, grassy yard for safe outdoor time and a big comfy couch right next to where I work, so your dog is never far from me during the day. I build in regular breaks to take dogs out, play, and just check in. Walks are a real part of my day, not an afterthought. Our household is calm and steady. I'm happy to follow your pet's usual feeding and routine as closely as possible, so the time with me feels familiar. My husband also works from home, so between us and our 16 & 20 yr old kids, there's almost always a lap available.
A typical day
Depending on what you tell me about their needs: neighborhood walks, couch cuddle sessions, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I'm also happy to toss a ball in the yard, work on basic training reinforcement, or just let your dog set the pace if they'd rather relax.

- Before I start watching your dog, I'd love to know their feeding schedule, any allergies or dietary needs, and whether they're on any medications. It's also helpful to know how they do on a leash, whether they have any anxiety triggers (being alone, storms, strangers), and any commands they respond well to. If they have a medical condition or anything I should watch for, please let me know. I always like to have your vet's contact info on hand just in case. Little details help too, like a favorite toy or routine that helps them feel settled and at home.
