I am Wendy and my husband is George. We are semi-retired! We enjoyed our Cocker Spaniel, Sam, for 13 years and had to say goodbye to him a few yrs. ago. We miss having a dog in our home and lives, and by giving your dog our love and care, we can still enjoy pets. I work from home and am here almost all the time. We keep our home clean and clutter-free. We have a great area for your pet indoors; outdoors is completely fenced in and your dog will be safe. We live in a quiet neighborhood. We include walks, weather permitting, so we also get some exercise. No additional fee involved. ; ) Please bring more than enough food for your pet to last the entire stay, plus some extra. Please bring your pet's bed or kennel/crate, if you prefer, as they will have some familiarity while you're away. You can bring toys and treats, and we will do our best to make sure they go home with your pet. We do ask for a Meet n Greet so we can see that we're a good fit for each other. I look forward to meeting you and your faithful companion and providing your pup(s) with lots and lots of love, attention, and plenty of belly rubs while you're away from home. If you need something special for your pup, just ask me! If we can accommodate, we will let you know. I am happy to text pictures daily, along with updates so you can see how your pet is doing while you are away. We are here to give your dog a home away from home and give you the assurance of their safety and care while you are away, so you can rest easy and enjoy your time apart, wherever that may be! See notes below: Please do NOT ask me if your dog can be the only dog in my care during your booking, as I do have a very steady boarding/daycare home. I do have my home set up in a way that if a dog doesn't necessarily favor other dogs that are here at the same time, I can separate them, and they still have plenty of room, as well as time with us for belly rubs and cuddles. PLEASE NOTE: HOLIDAY FEES ARE SLIGHTLY HIGHER! OVERNIGHT STAYS: $45 PER NIGHT (anything over 10 hrs is considered an overnight) ; DAYCARE: $40 PER DAY. $55 PUPPY RATE. More than one dog in the same immediate family will be discounted (except puppies). You will see this when requesting your reservation. Please be specific re: drop off/pick up times, when requesting your reservation, as this is what your payment is based on. (EX: An overnight stay is 24 hrs. from drop off time; if your pet comes at 7 a.m. on Fri. and leaves at 6 p.m. on Sunday, this equates to 2 overnights and 1 daycare stay). If you require an early drop off time, prior to 7 a.m., please consider booking the night before OR, if you have a late flight arrival home, and pick up will be after 8 p.m., please consider picking up your pup the next morning, as drop offs start at 7 a.m and pick-ups by 8 p.m. I do observe quiet hours between 9 pm and 7 am. and your messages will come in promptly @ 7 am. should you request services after hours. Please be considerate about drop-off/pick-up times. If you require additional time for pick up, please notify us so we can make arrangements. Please check our calendar to see if other dogs are in our care during the timeframe you are requesting! Thank you so much! Gratuities are Welcomed! Should your dog break or destroy something in our home, we will assess a fee for repair or replacement!
