I have loved and cared for animals since I was a kid. Family and friends have trusted me to take care of pets and young as a few weeks old to as old ad 12 year of age. I love and care for any pet that comes into my home as if they were apart of my family, giving them lots of love, attention, and patience. As a certified veterinary assistant, I have hands-on experience caring for animals, including handling, feeding, administering medications, and recognizing when a pet may not be feeling well. I also have experience with puppy training and helping young dogs learn basic commands, routines, and good behaviors. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care.

I have a dog named Lucy, during the time that Wendy was visiting me, she had a surgery to get a bladder stone removed. During the time same time, Lucy managed to remove her stitches while she was playing, causing her wound to open a hole in her stomach. While me and the rest of my family were panicking to try and figure out what to do, Wendy had an emergency pet first aid kit and used it to bandage her up, stopping the bleeding and allowing us to safely transfer her to a vet clinic. Though you may not have such a scenario occur to you, I believe that if anything bad were to happen, it would be better to have a caretaker with actual veterinary experience, as opposed to one without. I highly recommend choosing wendy for your care-taking service.

Schedule
I am currently a college student so my availability is flexible around my class schedule. I am available on the weekends anytime, for weekdays I am available after 4 pm. If you have any concerns I’m happy to work with your schedule and will always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, love, and care while you’re away!

I have a fenced in back yard and two medium sized dogs that can keep your furbaby company. They are very welcoming to new animals in the house so there would be no problem integrating your fluffy friend! I regularly walk my dogs in the morning and during the evening but I would be more than happy to add more walks to accommodate your pets needs. Toys and water bowls will always be available to them whenever they need it as well.
