Loves all of God's furry animals!
I've had cats and dogs (and other small furry critters) since I was in HS. I love caring for animals. It has always been a joy to care for my own or others. For this last Thanksgiving we had a Foster puppy here as well as our neighbors dog and it was a lot of fun. Everyone, had fun, even the cats. The more I sit for animals on Rover, the more I love it.

Leaving Josie with Wendy and her family takes away any guilt I might have about leaving Josie behind when I travel, because it’s just as much a vacation for her as me! They are absolutely wonderful with her and I trust their care. I feel so fortunate to have found Wendy on Rover!
Wendy was wonderful in taking care of our cat while we were gone for Christmas. She sent multiple pictures each day, stayed with Maggie longer than the minimum time to comfort and support her, and properly fed and watered her. I would hire Wendy again in a heartbeat and plan to do so when we go back to NY in May. This woman is one of the really professional and competent sitters out there. Thank you, Wendy.

Absolutely amazing! She took care of both of my dogs. One has special needs (deaf and blind) and she was incredibly understanding by and accommodating to his every need. Even while taking care of my high maintenance boy she also made sure my other dog (lab mix) got plenty of attention and exercise! She has a great yard for the pups and even set up a gated area in her home for my little blind guy to keep him safe from running into things or getting lost. Her whole family helped to make sure both my pups received plenty of attention and care! If you have any concerns about having some one sit your pup she is the person to go to!
Wendy and her family treat Josie like she belongs there. I leave knowing Josie is well taken care of and loved. It’s such a load off my mind when I go away because Josie is my best little buddie and can’t tolerate crate/cage boarding.

Schedule
~ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ~ We will review anything you'd like before you leave, and will do our best to accommodate. ~HOUSESITTING The housesitting rate covers you for 24 hours. I would be coming to your home to watch over it and care for your pet(s) most hours of the day + overnight. I can also water your plants, check your mail, receive packages etc. - One to three walks/day and/or a few potty breaks in the yard for dogs - Clean cat litter box - Feed + water them - Play + cuddle with them - Pic or video updates -Meet and Greets Before any house sitting, we love to have a meet and greet to make sure we are a good fit. Let’s set something up if you’re interested! ~DROP-IN VISITS I will be dropping by for 30-60 minutes to check in on your pet(s): - Let dogs out for a potty break - Clean cat litter box - Feed + water them - Play + cuddle with them - Pic or video updates ~DOG WALKING I would be coming to your house to take your dog(s) for a 30 - 60-minute walk in your neighborhood.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a wonderful fenced in backyard. Currently we have 1 cat (who hides a lot). We have puppy gates/ex-pens as well as doors we can close if we want to keep the dogs with us. We also have 2 large crates, if pets prefer them. We would honor your wishes, ie: potty break hours, coats in cold weather, how long (if at all) they can be left alone...

A typical day
We love to play out in the back yard with the pups. We also have a bunch of great area’s to walk both short and long. Indoors is fun as well, we have lots and lots toys (both cat and dog) and love to cuddle on the couch, with any animal that enjoys scratches and cuddling.
