I’m currently in a flexible transition period, which allows me to dedicate significant time and attention to pet care. This means I’m available throughout the week and weekends, including mornings, afternoons and evenings. I’m also open to short-notice bookings where possible, and I organise my calendar carefully to ensure reliability. Normally I respond to msg within 1 hour from 9am- 24pm, so feel free to contact me even at night.

I provide house sitting, drop-in visits and dog walking within your dog’s familiar environment. As a general principle, I ensure your dog will never be left alone for more than 3 hours during house sitting. If I cannot guarantee that, I will close my service on that day. I follow established routines closely and prioritise safety, secure access and responsible lead handling. Your home is treated with the utmost respect, and I maintain consistent communication to ensure a trustworthy and stress-free experience.

A typical day includes structured walks, playtime, and plenty of mental stimulation. I adapt to each dog’s routine, whether that means energetic park walks, sniffing exploration, or calm indoor games. I always ensure rest time, fresh water, and regular updates for owners.

Hi! I am Weiru, also go by Pheona. I have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including raising and looking after my own Husky from puppyhood into senior age. Through this, I’ve developed strong experience with senior dogs, dogs with medical needs, dogs who experience separation anxiety, and also dogs with extra energy need long walks. In addition to my own dog, I’ve also helped friends care for a range of dogs, including small breeds and dogs with more sensitive or nervous temperaments. I always prioritise calm, consistent and respectful care.

I’m very happy to recommend Pheona as a dog carer. She has helped look after my three-year-old Cavapoo, Oti, who is a small but very energetic dog, through regular walks and care support. What impressed me most was how well she understands dogs’ needs and behaviour. She was very good at reading Oti’s signals and could tell whether he wanted interaction, needed more physical activity, or simply needed a toilet break. Oti can become anxious around larger dogs, and during walks Pheona was always attentive and proactive, making sure to keep a safe distance when needed so he stayed calm and comfortable. She is also extremely careful and thoughtful when it comes to food and treats. Pheona remembered exactly what Oti likes, as well as what he must avoid, including his allergy to chicken. I always felt confident that she was mindful of his diet and would never give him anything unsuitable. Pheona is very reliable and consistently arrived on time as agreed. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which was very reassuring while Oti was in her care. I would absolutely trust her with my dog again and would highly recommend her to other pet owners.
I’m very happy to recommend Pheona as a cat carer. She has helped look after my two cats on multiple occasions, and I’ve always felt very comfortable leaving them in her care. One of my cats, Tony, is eight years old and needs more careful attention when it comes to diet and overall wellbeing. Pheona was very thoughtful and attentive to his needs, especially around food and hydration. She paid close attention to his eating and drinking habits and made a real effort to help him stay well hydrated, including adjusting his food when appropriate to encourage him to eat and drink more. I always felt confident that she followed my instructions carefully, including when medication was needed. My other cat, Lemon, is very shy and usually cautious around new people. Pheona was excellent at reading Lemon’s behaviour and understanding what he needed in different moments. When Lemon wanted interaction, such as playing games or engaging with her toys, Pheona responded patiently and warmly. When Lemon needed space, he respected that completely. Over time, this helped Lemon build trust, he went from hiding under the bed when Pheona first visited to greeting her at the door each time she arrives. Pheona is very reliable and detail-oriented. She always remembered feeding routines and other care instructions, paid close attention to both cats’ behaviour, and kept me updated if there were any changes or anything unusual. I would absolutely trust Pheona with my cats again and would highly recommend her to other cat owners.
