I am a private tutor who has always had pets. I love dogs and cats and I have availability with my career to provide other families pets with care and affection. I have experience as a dog walker and pet sitter and I am flexible and responsible. I have a safe and friendly apartment in NW DC and I truly enjoy the company of pups of all ages, sizes, and levels of energy. I have training as a special needs tutor and I am a very patient and responsible person who has lived in the DC area for two years. I am from Jacksonville Florida and I have a degree in philosophy from the University of Florida. I work mostly in the evenings and on weekends with my students of various ages. This allows me to work with pets in and around my student schedule.

I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely—feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and preferred routines—while keeping the space clean and secure. I provide regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. In my home, pets have a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise based on their energy level. I’m patient, attentive, and experienced with different temperaments, so I make sure each pet feels relaxed and well cared for.

Wayne took excellent care of our dogs! Our boys always have a great time with him.
Wayne was absolutely the best Dogsitter I’ve ever used. He went above and beyond, taking her to the vet to get a health certificate. Pictures and updates every day. Put all my mail away. Left the apt spotless. He made me feel like my dog was loved and cared for the entire time.
Our boys had a great weekend with Wayne! As always, our house and dogs were well cared for!

Wayne did a great job watching Nino during our vacation. He was very responsive to communications, and provided daily updates. Nino came home very happy!
Wayne did an excellent job taking care of our senior greyhound. His daily communication with us was excellent throughout the time we were away. In addition to being well-cared for, our greyhound was peaceful and content when we got home. I’m sure that she had a great time!
