My home is roomy with a fenced yard. There are green walking areas locally along with French Broad River. I do have a 17 pound female Australian Labradoodle, who is very submissive. Your dog must be non-aggressive and friendly in order to be with her and share our space. I’m happy to board dogs that don’t chew on our furniture!

A typical day
I wake up with the sun and being with a four legged friend is such a joy for me. I love to start the day with a morning walk and often stop at the dog park for play and socializing (if your dog enjoys that). Because of my flexible schedule, I make time throughout the day to walk, talk, play and enjoy quality time with your dog (or cat). If you like photo or video updates, I am always happy to abide : )

Waska is an extremely responsible and caring pet sitter. He goes beyond the call of duty when caring for your pets. My husband and I have 2 Australian Shepherds that want and need to spend their daily lives with you. Not only does Waska walk them, play ball and frisbee, he takes them hiking and on fun outings, which they love to do. Later he sits and gives them love and attention in the evening along with some dog training if needed. Last but not least he sends daily videos, pictures and updates to us when we are gone. We have used Waska for 2 long trips that were each over a week long. We couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter for our dogs. Our dogs love seeing him every time and they look forward to their time with Waska and so do we. He’s the best!!
First time with a sitter for our pets. Waska was awesome and kept us up to date on how they were doing.
We couldn't have asked for a better first-time-away experience in leaving our 2-year-old dog, Otis with a sitter. Waska set us at ease with video and pictures of the two warming up to one another, going to the park, taking hiking adventures, and playing at home. All the while, Otis appeared as happy just as he does with us. Our only fear was that Otis wouldn't want to come back home with us! Waska was professional, followed our instructions for feeding and even worked on a couple commands. I would recommend Waska to anyone looking for compassionate and highly capable dog sitter for their favorite furry family friend.
