The Poco Pooch Palace
This year we lost our best buddy 'Colten' and he was our third that we've had to say goodbye to over the years. We've thought about getting a new pup but, honestly, just not sure we can go through that inevitable end again. They are gone so soon, as we're sure many of you have also found, and it's a horror show. That's when we hit on the idea of boarding dogs. Walter is retired and Angela works for the Royal Bank from her home office, no kids, and there is usually someone at home 24/7. We already have the most ideal home for dogs and why not share our lives with not just one, but a steady stream of adorable pooches? What fun! "Big or Small - We Love'm All"

Walter & Angela took care of Milky with so much love!! They sent pictures, took him for long walks, and enjoyed cuddling with him. From the pictures it seems that Milky was having fun. We really appreciate their help and we'd definitely use their help in the future!! Thank you so much guys!!
Kirby thoroughly enjoyed his time with Walter and Angela.
A couple familiar with dogs. They were able to handle my 1.5 yr old, playful high energy staffy, especially being his first time away (and first time with rover app) My wife thinks our dog came back a little bit more behaved/disciplined. "He's a different dog" she says. Haha. Overall, they were great. I really appreciated their photo updates. AND they didn't message me while I was away for any issues (pleasantly surprising TBH considering how my staffy could be a handful at times).
Walter and Angela are very caring and loving pet sitters. Our dog Kirby loved them.
Angela and Walter were excellent with our dog, he's a rescue so has his quirks and takes a while to warm up to new people but my dog loved them by the end of the weekend. Have already booked in follow up stays with them!

Schedule
While Walter is semi-retired, both of us work from home and there is almost always someone home to keep your best buddy company and on frequent walks or a thorough play in the fully fenced and spacious backyard.

Safety, trust & environment
Our couches have always been Pooch Perches and the dogs are welcome to sleep on them. However, if you are more happy to have the dog crated at night we are happy to use your crate.
A typical day
After sir has had his breakfast it's off to the forest (half block away) for some amazing sniffs'n smells. During the day some ball tosses or wrastling in the backyard and, after dinner, a final walk around the neighborhood. And, always, some pics to send off to Mom and Dad.
