Loving Pet Sitter Who Treats Your Pets Like Family
I’ve cared for dogs my whole life—from my first Border Collie at age six to my beloved Sri Lankan street dog, whom I rescued when he was just three days old. He grew up with me for 20 wonderful years and taught me everything about love, patience, and loyalty. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I raised my rescue from his first days—feeding him, training him, and helping him grow into a loving, trusting companion. Later in his life, when he lost his eyesight and developed cancer, I supported him through every step, including gentle guidance, medication, and even chemotherapy. He passed peacefully in my arms at 20 years old, after a lifetime of unconditional love. Now, my sweet Labrador is back home in Sri Lanka, and I’m saving up to bring him here. I miss him deeply and miss being surrounded by dogs—their loving energy, playfulness, and the pure joy they bring with no expectations. That’s why I’ve joined Rover: to share my lifelong love and experience with other pets, caring for them as if they were my own.

Schedule
I’m currently a bachelor’s student, but I only have classes on two days a week. The rest of the week—including evenings and weekends—I’m completely free and flexible. That means I have plenty of time to focus on your pets, give them my full attention, and adjust my schedule to fit their needs.

I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can feel right at home. My apartment is pet-friendly and located on the second floor, with a secure balcony for fresh air and relaxation. I live only with my daughter—no other people, no smoking—so it’s a quiet, clean space that’s perfect for pets. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in their own, I make sure they’re comfortable, well-fed, and loved. I enjoy spending time playing, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they feel happy and secure. I can also help with baths, brushing, and keeping their space tidy. Pets are welcome to relax wherever they like—on the bed, sofa, or by my side!
A typical day
A typical day with me is full of love, play, and comfort. I like to start with some gentle cuddles or playtime to help pets feel happy and relaxed. For dogs, I enjoy going for nice walks, playing fetch, or just spending time outdoors exploring and getting fresh air. For cats, I love engaging them with toys, brushing sessions, or simply sitting together for quiet companionship. Throughout the day, I make sure they’re fed, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. I follow each pet’s routine carefully so they feel secure and loved while their owner is away. Every pet is different, so I always adapt to their personality—whether they’re playful and active or calm and cuddly. My goal is to make every day a fun, safe, and happy experience for them!
