Pet care is something I take seriously and fit into my schedule with flexibility. I can travel long distances, and any day of the week can work for me with some advance planning. As my schedule can get busy, I appreciate discussing and organizing in advance to ensure your pet receives the best care.

Safety, trust & environment
Upon arriving at the household, I ask key questions to ensure I respect your home and give the best care to your pets. I’ll ask about what I can and can’t use or access, your pet’s habits, feeding instructions, and, for dogs, I always begin with an initial walk to get acquainted. I also gather important contacts, like your vet and trusted neighbors, and check details like transportation options and nearby supermarkets. I’m mindful of practical concerns, such as how the doors lock and any other specifics, to ensure everything runs smoothly during my stay.
Information Volodymyr M. would like to know about your pet
1. Daily Routines and Preferences What is the pet’s daily routine for meals, walks, and downtime? Does the pet have any specific preferences for play, activities, or rest? Are there any places the pet prefers to go (or avoid) on walks? 2. Health and Medical Needs Is the pet on any medication, and if so, what is the dosage and administration routine? Are there any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions to be aware of? Who is the emergency vet contact, and are there specific signs of illness or discomfort I should watch for? 3. Behavioral Traits and Socialization How does the pet typically react to other animals, people, or loud noises? Does the pet have any fears, triggers, or sensitivities that might impact their comfort? Are there any training cues, commands, or reinforcement techniques they respond to? 4. Safety and Home Environment Are there areas in the home the pet is not allowed to access? Does the pet have any specific handling needs when it comes to securing them indoors or outdoors? Is the pet microchipped, and does it wear an ID tag on their collar? 5. Comfort and Emotional Well-being Are there toys, bedding, or personal items that help the pet feel secure? Does the pet prefer solitude at certain times, or are they usually social and interactive? How does the pet handle separation, and are there strategies that help with any anxiety? 6. Emergency and Contact Information Is there an alternative emergency contact if you are unavailable? Is there anything specific you would like me to know that would help make the pet’s experience even better?
A typical day
Memory updated Absolutely; that adjustment makes perfect sense for supporting the dog’s routine. Here’s the updated version: Morning Routine The day begins with a balanced meal provided before the first walk, which typically lasts 30-45 minutes. This setup promotes natural toileting needs, giving the dog a chance to exercise, explore, and feel at ease. If the dog requires oral medication, it is given with the meal or a treat to ensure a smooth process. After the walk, a quick clean-up (such as wiping paws or brushing) helps maintain a tidy environment. Midday Care Throughout midday, time is dedicated to interaction and mental stimulation, whether through play, light training, or simply relaxed companionship, especially for elder dogs. If a second walk is required, this is a shorter, more casual outing of around 20-30 minutes to help maintain balance without overexertion. Meals may be evenly split, or a small treat can be provided to keep up energy, depending on dietary needs. Cleanliness remains a priority, with regular attention to the pet area. Evening Routine In the evening, a second meal is served, again helping to encourage toileting during the day’s final walk (30-45 minutes). If oral medication is needed again, it’s administered alongside this meal to ensure consistency. The day concludes with a final clean-up of the pet’s area, ensuring a peaceful, orderly environment, and gentle encouragement for a comfortable night’s rest.

Reviews

I was happy to leave my dogs with Volodymir. He asked a lot of questions before the stay to ensure he knows my dogs well and what they may need. House was well taken care of at the end of the stay and the dogs were happy. Any serious issues were communicated and discussed.

Volodymyr stayed at our house with our 2 dogs for 10 days and we were so impressed! From the very beginning, he was very communicative, gave regular updates, and wasn’t afraid to ask questions. One of our dogs has reactivity issues and Volodymyr handled him with ease. When we got home, our home was spotless and in pristine condition, and our dogs were very happy and well taken care of! We are very thankful for Volodymyr and we look forward to working with him again in the future! Highly recommend!

I went away relaxed and confident that Volodymyr was coming in to feed my cats as arranged. We had met beforehand and he was very thorough in gaining all the information from me regarding my 2 cats. He sent me photos each day including the food eaten and what he put down for them each day. I was so grateful for him coming in on Christmas Day and Boxing Day too. Thankyou

Volodymyr was brilliant. When we first met he asked sensible questions and he took really good care of our elderly cat while we were away.
