I’m a freelance web developer, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I grew up with a loving golden retriever and an Angora cat. With a mix of personal experience, professional reliability, and a genuine love for animals, I always treat every pet as my own, giving them attention, affection, and care tailored to their needs. I live by Piers Park in Jeffries Point, East Boston, and I’m always happy to connect with fellow pet parents nearby. 🏡 House Sitting Arrival: Since my new roommate has pet allergies, I now only offer house sitting in and around Boston. I’ve been doing this for quite some time and have looked after pets in over 50 homes, so you can rest easy knowing your home and pet are in experienced hands. I’m very comfortable navigating different home setups, appliances, and TVs, so there’s no need for a full tour. That said, I’m always happy to meet in person beforehand and get to know you and your furry friend. If you’re not home when I arrive, clients typically leave me access through a door code, keybox, or occasionally under the mat, whichever you prefer. --- During My Stay: Before your trip, I’ll ask about your pet’s routine, preferences, and any medications they may need. You can share this information however you prefer. Some pet parents send a short message, others leave a note or a printed document. As long as I have what I need to keep your pet happy and comfortable, I’m all set. Because I work remotely, your pet will have company most of the day and receive plenty of attention (and pets 🐶🐱). I’ll happily send updates and photos as often as you’d like, whether once a day, twice a day, or not at all if you’d rather fully disconnect while on vacation. I adjust to your comfort level. --- Departure: Most clients ask me to leave a few hours before they return. Before heading out, I make sure you’ll find your home just as you left it. - Bedding stripped and tidied - Dishes washed and put away - Everything cleaned up after use If requested, I can also water plants, collect mail and packages, and leave them neatly on your table. After leaving, I’ll send a quick message with photos (of the rooms I used) and a short summary of how the stay went, so you’re fully updated and reassured. 🐕 Final Note At the end of the day, my main goal is to keep your pet happy and minimize any separation anxiety they might feel during the first day. Over time, I’ve found that most of my repeat clients continue hiring me for one simple reason: their pets genuinely bond with me and feel comfortable in my care.
