A Girl Best Friend is her Dog!

Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve honestly never known what it’s like to not have a dog around. My dog Delilah means so much to me. I raised her from the time she was just 2 weeks old, and she’s now 10 years old. We’ve been together through so many stages of life, and she’s taught me a lot about being patient, understanding, and really paying attention to what a dog needs. Over the years, I’ve taught Delilah things like sit, lay down, roll over, play dead, crawl, and how to walk on a leash without pulling. I learned a lot by watching training videos and just taking the time to work with her. Every dog is different, and I think getting to know their personality and earning their trust is one of the best parts of caring for them. Before I got my degree, I also worked at an animal hospital, so I’ve had experience being around and caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m doing Rover part-time because I genuinely love being around dogs and animals. I enjoy getting to know each pet, spending time with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away. I’ll treat your pet with the same love and attention I would want someone to give Delilah. My availability will vary since I’m also starting a new remote job. During my first six weeks of training, I’ll mainly be available certain days from Friday through Sunday, with Fridays available after 4 PM. I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated as I get my work schedule.

Safety, trust & environment

I follow the owner’s instructions and make sure I care for their pets the way they’re used to. I keep a schedule for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and anything else they may need throughout the day. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, care, and affection while they’re in my care.

Viviana took great care of our dog and sent lots of pictures and updates. I recommend her and would be happy sending our dog to stay with her when we are away.

Everyone knows Viviana for loving and caring for animals! She has a dog of her own and is completely responsible for her in her home. She knows the importance of not only dogs’ health and necessity for activity, but love and attention. Viviana is great at reading the body language of her dog and others and does what she knows is best for each situation. She has taken care of my dog, Blaire, multiple times in the past, and I would never second-guess going to her to again in the future!

Schedule

I currently do Rover part-time, so I can work with different routines depending on what works best for you and your pet. Starting September 4, I’ll be available after 4 PM. I’ll also be starting a remote job with a six-week training period on September 14th , so during that time I’ll mainly be available on certain days from Friday through Sunday. Once I know my work schedule, I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated so you’ll always know when I’m available. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get the care and attention they’re used to.

Before watching your pet, I’d love to know the little things about them. - Do they have a certain routine or any habits I should know about? - Do they have any anxiety, or are they used to staying with a sitter? - I’d also love to know their favorite treats, if they like tummy rubs or cuddles, and how they are around other dogs. - Are there any allergies, medical conditions, or activities they should avoid? I love all breeds and personalities, and I just want to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while they’re with me.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
