My boyfriend and I both work hybrid schedules and do our best to rotate our in-office days so that at least one of us is home with the pets. I start the day with a morning walk for the dogs, let them out for yard time throughout the day, and spend extra time with them outside when the weather is nice. Our bunnies, chinchillas, and guinea pigs have their own dedicated room, so there’s no concern about interactions with cats or dogs. We also have extra rooms available for shy cats or those who prefer quiet, private spaces, ensuring a calm and comfortable environment for every guest.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced-in yard that provides a safe space for outdoor play and potty breaks. My own dogs are very friendly and well-socialized with other dogs. I walk guest dogs at least once a day and follow their feeding schedule closely. Dogs are free to roam throughout the house and be part of the family during their stay, but I’m happy to crate them if that’s your preference or part of their routine. I always prioritize each pet’s comfort and safety, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m visiting yours.

Information Vivian Z. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know as much as possible about your pet ahead of time so I can give them the best care! Please let me know about their routines, favorite activities, any fears or triggers, and how they do with other animals. It’s also helpful to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or need medication. If your pet is shy, crate-trained, or has specific quirks, feel free to share—no detail is too small when it comes to making sure they feel safe and comfortable!
A typical day
A typical day includes a morning walk around the neighborhood or a trip to the park, and when the weather’s nice, we may even stop by the dog park for some social time and exercise. Throughout the day, pets get yard time, indoor play, and plenty of attention. On rainy or cold days, I keep things fun and enriching with puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and licking mats to provide mental stimulation and prevent boredom. I make sure every pet feels happy, entertained, and part of the family during their stay.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets since I was a kid, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I currently share my home with a variety of pets and love every moment of it. I’m passionate about animal care and spend much of my free time volunteering at shelters. Friends and family often turn to me first for advice or when they need someone trustworthy to look after their pets. Whether it’s a playful pup, a shy cat, or a small critter, I have the experience and heart to make them feel safe and loved.
Reviews

Vivian went over and above in her care for my senior cat. She was very compassionate and knowledgeable and most attentive to her special needs.

Vivian was great. We received updates, photos and videos every evening. Benny definitely loved his new friends and having someone to play with. I think Benny actually was depressed for a few days after picking him up. We would definitely recommend Vivian for taking care of your pet.

Vivian provided an excellent safe environment for our dog. We were excited to return home to see her so happy. We love the daily photos and updates that we received.

Vivian did a great job watching my dog! She gave very good updates throughout and it seemed like he had a blast with lots of time running around in her nice big yard. It is very clear Vivian loves animals and treats all the dogs she watches like they are her own.
