I had my rescue English Springer Spaniel/Shepherd mix (55 pounds), Koolie, since he was less than a year old. Unfortunately he lost his battle with cancer on the last day of 2020. He lived a happy 13 (almost 14!) years with me and my family. I also had a rescue GSD/Doberman mix (92 pounds), Joshua, who was definitely a handful, but the sweetest boy ever! I lost him in March 2021 due to a tragic accident. This is one of the main reasons I am on Rover - I'm not ready for another dog yet, but I do miss hanging out with dogs on a daily basis. With me, I will take care of your pup like he’s my own! I love taking my dogs to the beach (swimming/digging/playing with other dogs), park to run around (major tennis ball hoarders!), and just spending time with them at home on the couch watching tv. If any of those activities sound like things your dog would like to do, I may be a great match for you! I’m currently available most weekends and weekdays - I can be flexible with specific schedules if you tell me in advance! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Vivian is super friendly and took great care of our 4 month old puppy. We got lots of updates during the day and our dog was happy upon return home. We will definitely book her day care services again!
Vivian took wonderful care of my dog. Her positive energy was wonderful with our dog Stella and made us feel at ease leaving our dog. She gave us wonderful photos and updates. I would absolutely recommend her!
Vivian is the next best thing to a family member for our dogs. As new empty nesters and boomer retirees, we no longer have kids at home to take care of the dogs for short trips. Most of our friends who used to watch our dogs have retired and moved out of state. One of our two dogs is extremely anxious, wary of strangers (human and canine) and not fully house trained. Vivian handled all of our dog issues with aplomb. Both of our dogs took to her as if she was our daughter. She gave them all the attention and affection they needed and kept us updated several times a day. She does not currently have a pet, so it was a perfect solution to our anxious dog's phobia.
Vivian was fantastic with our long haired German Shepard!! I think buddy missed her after he came home, as they would go out for walks and play quite a bit… I loved getting all the updates and will definitely be using Vivian’s services again. Thanks Vivian!!
Vivian was able to accommodate our last minute boarding request, was great at communication, and was very easy to work with. Our dog often has a lot of nervous energy, but we can tell from the daily pictures that he had a great time. Thank you so much!
Our fur baby Twilight had a great time with Vivian - immediate connection, no signs of anxiety, and from the plentiful pictures Vivian sent during the day we could tell Twilight was truly enjoying the stay! In addition, Vivian is very easy to work with. All in all, we will be coming back as soon as next week already, and truly recommend Vivian's services!

Schedule
I’m currently working from home full time, so I will have plenty of time to play and care for your pup! My schedule tends to be flexible (if given enough notice in advance).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large flat that is 10-15min walk to Hyde Park. I treat all my sitter dogs as if they are my own and make sure to ask for any special diets/medications/instructions. I am also very flexible on updates throughout the care - depending on your preference!
A typical day
Walks and hikes around the neighborhood; play with Chuck It/tennis balls; sit and hang out in the sun (when London weather allows!); sneak treats; lots of pets/hugs/kisses
