I have extensive experience in pet care and welfare. I work at an animal clinic, which also runs an urgent care, in which we work with cats and dogs of many different health statuses. I keep myself level-headed in situations, good or bad and guarantee to provide the most attentive and supportive care for your babies. I use my knowledge from my job and my experience from pet sitting for friends and family to be able to provide the best care I can.

Safety, trust & environment
To ensure safety and proper care, I make sure to book a meet and greet with owners (free of charge) to ensure I can be shown the step-by-step routine of pet care. I write down my own to-do lists in order to keep track of my essential tasks. If I feel as though I would not be a good fit or my environment will not suffice for a safe space for the pet, I will discerne whether to go forward with the pet care or not.

Vivian is a clear communicator, incredibly reliable and trustworthy. I have entrusted her with the care of my medically complex sr. dog on a number of occasions and will happily do so in the future. Vivian provides updates and pictures, and I always return to a happy well cared for dog.
I truly can’t think of anyone better suited to care for animals than Vivian! Animals seem to naturally love and trust her, and I’ve seen firsthand how loving, responsible, and attentive she is with our dog, Benny. She is always happy to care for him, whether that means taking him for walks, playing with him, giving him lots of affection, or making sure his diet and medications are properly managed. She was also the person who took the lead in training him and has always been incredibly patient and consistent with him. Vivian genuinely loves animals and gets so much joy from being around them. That passion is also reflected in her work at a vet clinic, where she loves getting to be around pets every day and then telling us about all the cats and dogs she got to interact with. I would trust her completely with any animal as many of my colleagues and friends have, so that's how I know she will continue to treat other’s pets with the same love, care, and attention she always gives any animal.

Schedule
I work full time at the animal clinic, 9am-5pm. I usually take time to care for pets (walk, feed, administer medication, etc.) before I leave for work and make sure to do the same as soon as I get home from work. If the situation permits, I am able to take pets to work with me and take them out for a walk at lunch time and/or throughout the day. I make sure to prioritize and manage my daily plans around pet care.
