Hi I’m Vivian!
Hey y’all! I have taken care of pets, specifically dogs, for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Louisiana with 2 dachshunds in my family home. One of them had diabetes, so I am experienced with giving shots and oral medication. In addition to taking care of the weenie dogs, I had a pet hedgehog and chameleon in high school. I truly love animals of all kinds. I grew up walking and dog sitting for family friends and neighbors. In high school, I was an involved volunteer at my local humane society. When I was in college, I ended up rescuing a dog from that shelter. My parents took him in since I lived in a college dormitory. After I graduated college, I couldn’t wait to get my own dog! Here in Charlottesville, I have 1 dog now, Pretzel, who is a small lab mix. He is also a rescue, and is my world! I can’t wait to meet, walk, and watch your pets!

Vivian has never met a doggie she doesn't love! She has cared for many pets, including all the pups she encountered while volunteering at our local shelters. She has her very own fur baby, whom she is completely devoted to. She is extremely responsible and spends quality time with pets when in her care. Her own pup is super friendly and loves having furry friends to play with. You will not be disappointed in placing your pet in Vivian's care!

Schedule
I have a non-traditional work schedule that is unpredictable but also flexible. I go into work most week days, or sometimes work from home. My hours can vary, but I always make time to walk my dog Pretzel multiple times a day with trips to the dog park when I can. I am available on the weekends.

In my home, Pretzel roams free. I do not kennel him, as he is potty trained. I want Pretzel to be able to roam around as he pleases. Pretzel sleeps with me every night.

A typical day
I would love to take your pup and Pretzel to the dog park, on a hike, or to a pet friendly restaurant. I enjoy bringing Pretzel everywhere with me.
