Safety, trust & environment

I think that a human connection and bond with a dog is very important. You need to establish trust with the owner and the dog. As for safety of the dog I take that very seriously. If the dogs feels scared I like to comfort them. Food safety is also important especially when in comes to dogs. If anything happens first I would call the owner then the vet immediately. A dogs safety and life is my first priority. I also know when something’s off about a dog. If a dog is shaking or the nose is dry. Sudle signs like that can definitely indicate if a dog is in immediate danger.

Schedule

When I pet sit we start with food in the morning. I usually will take the dog for a walk and enjoy the scenery. After we get water both of us because we need to stay hydrated! The dog will usually take a nap in that time. Then after the movie we play! But it really depends on the dog either way we have a very fun time! If you and the dog are having fun then that’s all that matters. Then we do it all over again the next day.
