As a dedicated pet lover and proud owner of a lively Maltese named Luca, I understand the joy and companionship pets bring into our lives. Since welcoming Luca, I’ve discovered the true happiness animals add to my day-to-day life, and I often find myself connecting more with pets than people. Caring for Luca has taught me patience, understanding, and the importance of nurturing a pet's unique personality and needs. Vishnu took great care of 13 year old Lola. I have never left Spaniel Aid UK rescue Lola with anyone but family before and felt a bit apprehensive. I needn't have worried; Vishnu obviously loves dogs and Lola seemed very comfortable with him and enjoyed being taken to the nearby park each day.
Meeting Vishnu for the first time… very kind and helpful. Sent photos of Coco all the time and kept me updated on how she was doing. Coco thoroughly enjoyed her stay as she was very calm when I picked her up 😊

Schedule
Pet care is woven seamlessly into my week, making it just as essential (and enjoyable) as my morning coffee! Working from home means Luca is my little “coworker” most days, keeping me company and reminding me to take breaks (which usually means playtime or cuddles). Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my "away days," but I've made sure those are full of extra treats, comfy spots, and toys for Luca to enjoy while I'm onsite. On all other days, I’m here to provide all the attention he could want, from belly rubs to outdoor adventures. For other pets I’d be caring for, I bring the same level of attention and love. I work around their schedules, whether it’s feeding time, walks, or just time to snuggle. My daily routine with pets is as fun and flexible as they need, with Luca as the best assistant anyone could ask for!

Living in a cozy one-bedroom home with a fenced garden gives me a perfect setup for pet care! The garden is a safe spot where pets can roam freely and explore without any worry. I love that there are parks nearby, so daily walks and a change of scenery are always on the agenda—great for stretching legs and sniffing new scents. Inside, I make the space as welcoming as possible with comfy spots to lounge, plenty of toys, and some tasty treats for rewards or just to brighten their day. With Luca’s stash of toys and our little routines, pets here can enjoy a mix of indoor comfort and outdoor fun, all with a loving companion to keep them company. Whether they’re looking for playtime or just a quiet spot to relax, they’ll feel right at home!

A typical day
If it’s a dog, I’ll make sure they have the best time! We’ll play fetch, tug-of-war, or just run around both indoors and outdoors. I’ll teach them fun tricks like giving a paw or rolling over, always with lots of treats, of course! Walks are a must, and we’ll enjoy some good old-fashioned people-watching while exploring the neighborhood. It’s all about keeping them happy, active, and loved while they’re with me! If it’s a cat, I’ll keep it fun and cozy! We’ll play with feather toys, lasers, or anything they love chasing. Plenty of cuddles (if they’re into that) and a comfy spot to chill will make sure they feel right at home.
