We’re home most of the time—Virginie works half-time from home and Max is remote two days a week—so your pup will get plenty of company. On some days we work away from home, so your dog may need to stay alone for a few hours. For that reason, we can’t host puppies or very anxious dogs on those days. If you’re interested in certain dates, we’ll let you know exactly which days and for how long your dog would be alone. The rest of the time, your furry friend will enjoy walks, backyard play, and plenty of love !

Safety, trust & environment

TRUST AND SAFETY We understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby, and we take that responsibility very seriously. We will provide daily updates and photos to let you know how your dog is doing and give you peace of mind while you're away. We live in a safe, quiet neighborhood with lots of parks and trails nearby, so your pup will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. Our kids are both older and understand the importance of being gentle and patient with our furry guests. TAILORED CARE AND REQUIREMENT Above all, we want your dog to feel loved, happy, and safe while they're in our care. We have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, and we will tailor our care to your dog's individual needs and preferences. Whether your dog needs a lot of attention and playtime or just wants to curl up and nap, we will make sure they feel right at home. Before booking a first stay with us, we require a meet and greet to ensure that your furry friend will feel comfortable in our home and with our family. We want to make sure that everyone gets along and that your dog will have a positive experience staying with us. Please note that for stays longer than 5 days, we require a day and night trial period to ensure compatibility and a smooth transition. We also ask that you be honest with us about your dog's personality, habits, and any potential behavioral issues. This will help us ensure the safety and well-being of your dog as well as our own family. Thank you for considering us as your dog's home away from home. We can't wait to meet your furry friend and welcome them into our family!

Information Virginie & Maxime B. would like to know about your pet

If your dog has special needs or behaviors, please let us know so we can account for them. Examples of special needs or behaviors may include medical conditions, anxiety around other dogs, or destructive chewing habits. It's important that we are aware of these issues to ensure your dog's safety and comfort while under our care. We will do our best to accommodate your dog's needs, whether it's administering medication or avoiding certain situations that may trigger anxiety.

A typical day

Some fun activities that we enjoy doing with the dogs we watch include playing fetch in our backyard and going for long walks in the park, around the neighborhood or into the hills behind our house. However, we want to emphasize that we prioritize the safety of every dog in our care, which is why we are not comfortable with off-leash activities with dogs we sit.

French-Loving Family for your pups

Pet care experience

THIS IS US Bonjour ! We are a French family of four who moved to the USA six years ago, and we absolutely adore dogs. We lost our beloved 12-year-old cocker spaniel a few months after our move, and while we are not quite ready to have a new dog of our own, we've found that dog-sitting for friends has allowed us to continue to share our love and affection with pups in need of a temporary home. OUR HOME AND CARE When your dog stays with us, he will be treated like one of our own. We live in a cozy house with a securely fenced yard, and our family loves to spend time outdoors, whether it's taking a walk around the neighbourhood or playing fetch in the backyard.

Too many positive words to use to describe Virginie, Max and their girls. They are a family who loves dogs all sizes and gives 100% each day caring for our fur babies. So grateful for the care Tango receives and the love she gets while we are away.
