Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom, so dogs receive consistent attention throughout the day. They are part of our normal home life, with regular potty breaks, playtime, rest, and supervision. I’m home most of the day aside from short errands, so dogs are rarely left alone for long periods.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. Dogs stay in a secure, fully fenced yard when outside and have supervised access through a doggie door during the day. Inside the home, I use gated areas when needed to ensure safe introductions, give dogs personal space, or create a calm environment if a dog needs downtime. I closely monitor all dogs in my care to make sure everyone is comfortable and getting along well. I follow each dog’s routine carefully, including feeding instructions, exercise needs, and any special care directions provided by the owner.

Information Virginia R. would like to know about your pet
Before booking, I like to learn about your dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide the best possible care. Helpful things to share include: * Energy level and exercise needs * Comfort level with other dogs and children * Any anxiety, reactivity, or medical needs * Feeding schedule and dietary restrictions * Crate training preferences (if applicable) This helps me make sure your dog is comfortable and a good fit for our home environment.
A typical day
A typical day in my home is calm, structured, and filled with a mix of activity and rest. Dogs usually start the day with potty time and play in the yard, followed by time indoors relaxing with the family. Throughout the day, dogs may enjoy supervised backyard time, short walks based on their energy level, and plenty of opportunities for rest and attention. Some dogs like to play with Oreo, while others prefer lounging nearby and getting affection. In the evening, things wind down with quiet time, cuddles, and settling into their favorite sleeping spot.

Pet care experience
Your dog will be cared for in a loving home with lots of attention, play, and all-day supervision while you’re away. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will be part of our daily home life. They’ll enjoy a balance of play, rest, and daily walks (up to 3 miles, always adjusted to your dog’s needs and comfort level). We have a large fenced yard with a doggie door, giving dogs safe freedom to go in and out throughout the day. Inside, dogs are treated like family. They’re welcome to relax on couches, sleep where they feel most comfortable, and receive plenty of affection and interaction. I also have multiple gated areas available if a dog needs space, downtime, or separation for safety and comfort. Our friendly, well-trained goldendoodle, Oreo, enjoys other dogs and helps create a positive, social environment. My children are gentle, respectful, and experienced with dog safety, and they love helping care for visiting dogs. I keep care flexible and personalized—crates are optional, and I closely follow your dog’s normal feeding routine, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. Note: Due to allergies in our home, I am only able to host hypoallergenic dogs. New to Rover? Use this link for $20 off your first booking: https://www.rover.com/sit/virgir16796
Reviews

She did a great job watching our dog. They went on walks and played fetch. Our little guy had a great stay there!

Virginia did an amazing job watching out 2 dogs. She was super accommodating to their needs and sent several updates of their stay. I would highly recommend anyone to use her to watch your precious dogs!

She was so welcoming with me and my dog and my dog felt so happy with her !! She kept me updated all the time

They were very kind and communicated well. They sent pictures and gave updates. The environment was very chaotic with several dogs and lots of little kids. This was not ideal for our dog. When I dropped him off I worried that the environment would not be ideal and it wasn't. I would not use this service again for my dog.
