LOOKING FORWARD TO LOVING YOUR DOG
I love and care for your dog like they are my own! I only take one dog at a time. I snuggle and play with them and provide constant attention and companionship. Your dog is welcome in my lap and in my bed at night if they like. My fenced backyard is large and I take them out frequently to run around and play, however formal walks will be limited. I take only small dogs up to 28 pounds, and lap and snuggle dogs are enjoyed. I have had many dogs of my own in my life, all loved, and treated like my children. My father was a licensed, selective dog breeder in Ohio, and taught me care, grooming and behavioral knowledge. I have very good rapport and patience with dogs. However, I do not have any patience for fleas or accidents, and prefer not to have them in my home. I don't have a pet, so I am looking forward to loving yours! I am retired, and a painter (of pictures), so I spend some of my time in my attached studio with my visiting pup. When not in my studio, my visitor is doing what they like, I may be outside with them sitting on the porch watching, or I just might have a lap full of dog watching TV or reading. Very laid back and comfortable environment. I have a great fenced yard that has sniffy things for them to check out. Visitors like to nose around, find a shrub, or a special place, and generally explore. I keep an eye on them from my porch.

Virginia was a perfect fit for our 4 year old french bulldog who is a true velcro dog! Millie instantly seemed at home with her and Virginia cared a lot about making her feel welcome. Loved the frequent pictures and updates. Will absolutely repeat.
This is our second time booking with Virginia. Virginia is super sweet and such a good sitter for Noodle! She provides a calming environment where he can sleep and relax. Virginia is very flexible and I really appreciate that we were able to find a time to come pick Noodle up earlier than originally planned because we had to end our trip early. I'll definitely book with Virginia again.
We loved how Virginia Lynn met with us before hand and asked lots of questions about Lucy and took notes so she would know her routine while we were gone. She took great care of our girl while we were away on our trip and it was so nice to find a sitter who only accepted one dog at a time since Lucy doesn’t always get along with other dogs.
Super please with Virginia! The exact fit for my dog. One on one care for my dog, which is exactly what I wanted for Luna. Virginia is attentive to my instructions on Luna. Lovely atmosphere and setting. Luna loved having a yard to get out and sniff around. Luna snuggle right into Virginia and her home. I feel like I finally found a perfect fit for Luna and her care. Luna and I will definitely be returning customers!
We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received while we were on vacation! It gave us such peace of mind knowing she was in such loving, dependable hands. The pictures and updates during the week were fun to get and helped ease our mind that everything was going well. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup. We truly appreciate the excellent care and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy doggie sitter!

Schedule
I am somewhat seditory, and spend a lot of time, reading, TV and drawing on my couch. Dogs are on the lap, next to me, being played ball with, or sharing the outside when the weather is good. They are a special visitor!

A typical day
Hmm, I guess I am the fun for the dog. Treats, teaching them how to use the dog door, new words and commands. Snuggling and waking up in the AM for a belly rub!

- I would like to know: is the dog potty trained; is the dog allergic to any plants, foods, or fabrics; is the dog on a flea routine; is the dog a "chewer" and if so, please bring his toys; does the dog know his/her name; are there any medications or shots needed? What would you like me to know about your dog to make sure they have a pleasant stay? Is your dog hearing impaired or losing their sight? I have taken care of many senior dogs, but need to know! In case of emergency, I also need your local vet's name/number and the name/number of a close friend in case of any problems. I know how much you love your dog, I want this to be a great visit!
