I've been around animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always felt instinctive to me. I pick up on small shifts in mood or energy quickly, and I let them set the pace rather than the other way around. Daily walks are one of my favourite parts of the job, not just a quick loop around the block but a proper outing where we both get to stretch, breathe, and reset. It's genuinely something I look forward to. I'll treat your space with the same respect I'd want for my own. I'm always happy to send photos and updates while you're away. A couple of things about me: I sometimes find animals easier to read than people, their signals are honest and immediate, and that's a language I've always felt fluent in. I think it's partly because I've had to adapt quickly to new places and cultures myself; it's made me a fast, attentive settler-inner, someone who pays close attention to the routines that matter to you and your pet. I'd love to get on a call beforehand to talk through your pet's routine. I can't wait to meet them!

Safety, trust & environment
I offer pet sitting and house sitting at the pet owner's home. When I'm in your home, I treat the space with the same respect I'd want for my own. I don't wander into areas that aren't mine to be in, I keep the home secure, and I follow your instructions closely on routine and any house rules. I send regular photo and video updates so you can see your pet is safe and settled, and I'm always reachable if anything comes up. I match feeding schedules, walk times, and any medication needs exactly as instructed, and I pay close attention during the settling in period especially, since that's when pets are most likely to be anxious or test boundaries. For dogs, walks are where I put the most energy and attention, proper time outside, lead safety, and sticking to the routes and rules you're comfortable with. For cats, I let them set the pace rather than forcing interaction, and I keep litter, feeding, and hiding spot routines exactly as they're used to.

Schedule
I'm generally available from Friday evening through Tuesday afternoon for walks and sittings. Outside of that, I have SEN (special educational needs) experience, I'm writing a book, and I do some part time videography work. My week has a good rhythm to it, and pet care is a proper, built in part of my routine rather than squeezed in around everything else. Walking is honestly what I look forward to most! A proper outing where we both get to stretch, breathe, and reset, not just a quick loop around the block. I also offer pet and house sitting at your home, and I always confirm exact availability before booking so I can give your pet my full attention for the time we've agreed on.
