Pet care experience
Pets will be treated like family!
Hello! My name is Mariyah and I would love to care for your pet(s)! I am a veterinary technician working part time while enrolled in college to be a veterinarian. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, as well as all temperaments. I am fear free certified so your animal will always be handled with care and kindness. I am able to administer oral medication, administer injectable medication, and can even teach your dog a new trick or two if requested!
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
Violeta was able to accommodate a last minute booking request when we were unable to get our dog in for boarding during our spring break. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about dogs due to her experience as a veterinary technician which helped immensely since our dog has some special needs/mobility issues. She was responsive and sent pictures and videos of Scooter and her two dogs. We are grateful to Violeta for taking great care of Scooter and would highly recommend her services to our friends and family!

When dogs are around Mariyah, they can feel the sincerity of her love and affection towards them! She is the best dog mom, and has given her own dogs the best and happiest lives that you can ask for! Mariyah works at an Animal Emergency Room, and at a Veterinarian Clinic. She cares for people's pets on a daily basis as it's her passion to work with animals. You definitely will not regret trusting Mariyah with your pet, as she treats them like family!!

Schedule
I work part time two days out of the week and take online courses for school, so I am pretty open as far as availability.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I take care of client’s pets as my very own! I am fear free certified so I would never be upset if a pet had an accident. I have three years of experience as a veterinary technician, so I am very educated in handling cats and dogs.

A typical day
A typical day of fun looks like starting the day with a morning walk, then play time in the back yard. We all eat breakfast, then will nap while I work around the house. Around noon, we all head out to a trail near the house with lots of open fields and forest to explore. After an hour of that, we will head home and maybe stop by Petsmart for a new toy. A snuffle mat, doggy ice cream, or long-lasting dental chew will be provided once we get home. Around 5, we will go on our last walk of the day with more play time in the backyard. All dogs get to go outside every 4 hours in the backyard, so lots of physical and mental enrichment for your pup!
