Violet is a lovely person, and she exudes competence and calmness. Our dog was very content with her and very calm when we returned home. Our house was in perfect order. We had total confidence in Violet, and we’ll plan to book with her again as our needs arise.
Violet was so patient with my girls’ high energy puppy needs and communicated after each visit how things went and how the girls did. It made being away at work easier and brought peace of mind knowing they were being checked on by a trusted person.
Violet made some good efforts with our super shy Ms. Kitty, while house-sitting. I appreciate that she tried to work with our needs while keeping up with the demands of her busy schedule.

While I don’t have pets of my own just yet (though I plan to adopt a couple of cats eventually!), I’ve always been an animal lover and truly enjoy spending time caring for pets. I believe every pet has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know them and follow their owner’s routines to help them feel safe and happy. I aim to maintain a calm, familiar environment for your pet—whether that’s keeping up with their feeding schedule, playing their favorite games, or offering extra cuddles when they need comfort. I once cared for my partner’s mom’s dog, Anya, who was really anxious and upset while her mom was away. She had an upset stomach from the stress, so I made sure to be extra gentle, engage her in games to keep her mind busy, and do everything I could to help her feel a little more at ease. That experience reminded me how important it is to be patient, kind, and attentive—especially when a pet is missing their person.
A typical day
I love spending time doing whatever makes each pet happiest! For the playful pups, that might mean long walks, fetch sessions, or a good game of tug-of-war. For the cuddlers, we’ll have plenty of snuggle time and pets. Whether it’s exploring outside or relaxing together, I make sure every pet gets the attention and love they deserve while their family’s away!
