I grew up in a cat-person home, but have always been a dog person. I have house/dog sat multiple times, and that included playing, feeding, and daily walks. I babysit a lot, which occasionally involves a dog that I take care of too. A Rottweiler was briefly a part of my family, so I helped my mom with taking care of him as well. I transported him to the groomer, made sure he ate his food instead of the trash, spent time with him at the vet, took him on walks and played with him (even though he didn’t understand the concept of catch), and made sure he ate any medicine that was snuck into his food. Now that I am living with my own dog, I am able to perform drop-ins and give my undivided attention to any pet that needs my care. I currently work full-time, but my schedule is not consistent week by week. I live 10 minutes from work and get a 30-minute break, so I can use that time for drop-ins if your home is close to IKEA. I live in a duplex, my apartment is very spacious and clean. I am a couple blocks from Tower Grove Park, so that provides a lot of opportunity for walks and playing. I have a grassy, fenced-in backyard, perfect for potty breaks.

Violet was a great communicator and excellent catsitter! Everything went smoothly and we'd be happy to re-book again.
I don't like leaving bad reviews but unfortunately since getting a doorbell camera it is apparent that Violet never stays longer than 10 mins at check ins despite waiting the 30 mins to check out on the app. At first I gave her the benefit of the doubt that it was thanksgiving and she was probably busy with family but the rest of the weekend the longest she stayed was 13 mins by the time stamps on our doorbell camera. Every single day she left early but waited to check out on the app until 30 mins. I ended up canceling out last day. I won't be booking Violet again and would not recommend booking her unless you have security cameras to see how long she stays because she clearly knows how to manipulate the system and is essentially commiting time card fraud. I did inform Rover support of this but it does not look like they will be doing much about it.
Violet did a great job taking care of our cats! Would hire her again.
Violet did drop-in visits for our dog and cat. She was professional and responsible. We’d be happy to hire her again.

- For boarding, your dog will need to get along with my puppy. He is very friendly and extremely social, just a small and sensitive dog who can’t handle extreme roughhousing.
